During the 1960's Albert Slauenwhite was one of the best baseball players in the country in his age group. He was so highly regarded the Boston Red Sox drafted him at 16 years of age. The right handed pitcher won countless championships and eventually went on to star at the fastball level. Slauenwhite refuses to hang up the glove and has been playing in the Nova Scotia Adult Monarchs Baseball League based out of Sackville NS. The word is the 72 year old can still bring it... his fastball matches his age at 72 miles per hour.
