He has proven that he is the most adaptable tennis player of all time, he came to the scene in the midst of rivalry era between Rafa and Roger, he tasted bitter under the hands of those two masters but eventually with the right mindset and mighty fortitude with incredible patience learnt his own weaknesses and opponents weakness, eventually surpass them both. @@ngocnguyen-nt8bp Well 2023 couldn't have ended better than it did for us Novak fans, except maybe that Davis Cup semis choke to Sinner from 3 match points...but other than that Novak made almost the most out of what he got in 2023, maybe with the slight exception at pre-RG clay chunk of the season (could have if not won one clay court event, then at least advanced farther than QF in all 4 of them at least...), you can't say anythnig negative about the seasons were he wins almost 90% of all his matches, wins 3 slams out of 4 and ends up runner-up of the remaining 4th, wins 2 masters titles out of only 4 he plays and caps the year off with another ye#1 finish on top of YEC title in Turin...Like i said the only way this season could be even better is if Novak perfromed better at pre-RG chunk of clay season and offcourse won that damned Wimbledon final! (i don't think i need to cite the historic implications it would have...), if that was the case it would be up there with 2011 and 2015!

У Агасси ничего особенного, обычная игра. У Рафы подача с сильным кручением и форхэнд. Ну и быстрые ноги. У Новака тоже много интересных ударов. Обратный кросс при приёме. Бэкхэнд по линии. Выводящая подача хороша, выход к сетке есть . И Джокосмэш есть которого нет не у кого. Психологическая устойчивость. Мне нравится как он играет.

What’s amazing to me is just how consistent he is! When it was Rafa and Roger, he could beat them on their best surfaces. Now we have the new superstars. Thiem, Sinner, Alcaraz, etc… And he beats them too!!!
3:04-3:13 That's a clip of Djokovic beating Anderson in the R16 of Wimbledon 2015 from 2 sets to love down. Djokovic also beat Anderson in the 2018 Wimbledon final, but that was in straight sets
To be fair, that was the toughest match for Djokovic in that tournament. The Federer final was a piece of cake in comparison. The R16 Anderson match is one of the most overlooked victories of Djokovic it was insane. Anderson's level was out of this world, he was serving unbelievable, he was 2-0 up, there was rain, Djokovic was clearly getting extremely upset and he came through with the comeback. That was one of those rare matches when even though I'm his fan I thought he was done for because the pressure was too much.

I know people who don't play tennis don't understand the importance of age, especially against same level players. I assume Nole's loss at the AO by Sinner highlights this very important aspect. Anderson was not an outstanding player by any measure.

He actually has a losing record against some players (Roddick, Safin, Gonzalez, Kyrgios...). It doesnt mean anything, but there is no need to tell lies just to give him more credit.
