it's so beautiful. you are so nice performance. I relax and healing by listening your work. and I want to ask you question. because I want to be like you. what instruments did you use for this performance? Did you use DAW or PC? and how did you connect instrument to instrument. My English is so terrible. sorry,,,
oh yeah!................love these flowing waves..................I'm always drawn to these 'dirty/noisy' vibes for some reason..........perhaps because those sounds emulate aspects of nature, or our analogue history..............mesmerizing
Beautiful, like everything from you! Is it just Peak, or are some external effects (pedals, daw) used? I see that you also have Polyend Tracker there, do you use it in combination with Peak? Thanks!
Thank you! Everything you're hearing is straight out of the Peak. I do a tiny bit of compression in my NLE just to get it up to RU-vid loudness, but the audio doesn't even touch a DAW. The Tracker is sequencing, I have a few videos where I trigger sounds with it as well but I haven't done one of those in quite a while. Thanks again.
...back to give this a second ear..............so much more satisfying and to my taste than most of the other 'ambient' synth videos uploaded here recently...............Question: Did you make this patch, or is it from a factory or custom sound bank?
Thank you. Many of the different sections of this are really just me changing what is being modulated by two LFOs. LFO 1 is a really fast triangle, 2 is a very slow square. I used 1 to muddy things up. You can hear it frequently on the noise, the filter, some of the oscillators. Anything that sounds dirtier or more broken up than it should, that's LFO 1. LFO 2 is on a few oscillators. There's a moment around seven minutes into this video where the pitch of one of the oscillators jumps up suddenly. That's LFO 2, it's touching a variety of other things in much smaller ways like how much of the ring mod we're hearing. Just making things big, organic, a little broken-sounding, that was the idea. Thanks again.
