Hmmmmm, I was going to suggest a factory reset but you need USB to do that, and your USB isn't working. Maybe try a PC with a different version of windows?

@Boi Mesa @Gearfacts Actually, the Xio 25 will charge batteries. That said, use rechargeable batteries if wanting to use that function, not standard batts.

Not sure about that one, all I can suggest is googling up the manual.

Yep, the keys are velocity sensitive.

Ironic … You'd like to get your hands on a Micron ( I purchased mine new after they were first released and still have it ) and here I am trying to get my hands on a XioSynth 25. Looking to piece together a small portable kit and think a Xio would work well with my Korg Kaosillator 2s and my old school Yamaha QY10 sequencer/rhythm machine. I own a Casio CTK--651 which is also battery powerable, but it's anything but " small " as I'm sure you know. Thanks for the reply, btw.
