James has been made to sleep on the sofa. James tries to speak with Ste but Ste won't listen. Tony gives James some advice on how to show Ste how sorry he is. James tells Ste that he's booked a holiday to Benidorm, and Ste says James isn't forgiven, but it's a start. When Leah and Lucas arrive home Ste excitedly tells them that they're going on holiday, thinking James has booked for the whole family. James bluntly says that the holiday is just for him and that the children aren't invited after blackmailing him. Ste is angry that James has excluded them and tells James he'd better find somewhere else to spend the night and wants him gone by the time he gets back. James turns up at the Lomax house where Leela makes it clear to him that she's letting him stay there as a favour to Ste, leaving James miserable at what's happened...
