This honestly is such a happy video, brought a tear to my eye, and you are such a good son to understand and enjoy moments like this with her as I'm sure she was there for your first snowball :)
When you are a child, you are interested in everything, you want to learn the things, why do they work and how and want to grow up so you can know things that you don't understand. When you are an adult, you tend to think, that you know how things work and you don't care about simple things, because life gives you more complicated tasks. When you grow old, you start to value things that are little and when every day you live is a gift, the inner child of you awakens so you can experience the simple once again, that you've long forgotten and so you want to be young.
At 101 SHE BENT OVER AND PICKED UP SNOW to make a snowball. And then threw it! This made me laugh with a tear in my eye. My own mom is bedridden at 95 (because of an accident) and this is what she'd be doing if she were up and around. Love, love, love it. Thanks so much for sharing!
This makes my heart happy. I've always been very close to my 93-year-old grandma (she's one of my absolute best friends), and I cherish every moment with her. It breaks my heart when I hear of older people being abused or neglected, so seeing things like this, and gathering that you have a very close relationship with your mom and help her to have fun moments like this, is wonderful. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing. So, so sweet.
+Sarah Jones thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I agree there is a lot to learn. It's not that hard is it? Just keep doing what you're doing. Be a best friend. 😄
We Kazakhs have really good phrase, it says: You will be always young as a kid, when you have a Mother) You are really happy my friend, I ask the God and I hope that my mother will live as long as possible and I will always feel myself as her child)) Awesome video, such a sunny, but it let it me crying)
Our life keeps us busy so much it takes a 101 year old happy lady to remind us to stop and smell the roses... or throw a snowball and love it. Thanks for sharing this, made my day!
I received the video a few hours back and watched it at least 10 times already.. I would gladly give an arm to only set eyes on my mom once more. She loved snow as much as i do. When it's snowing, i picture her kind face in the snowflakes. It hurts a lot but brings strange joy and warmth to my heart also :( Feels nice and wrong at the same time :( All the best granny, you rock!!!
+Armand Foisy It is i who should be thanking you, bro. A beautiful video of happy people full of life. Thank me by taking good care of the lady. Please, do hug and kiss her for me. I would like nothing more than to do it in person. But i'm just too far away. Going to the States next year, but NY only, otherwise i would be honored to meet you guys in person. It brings joy to my heart to see things like this.. It shows there is hope yet, for us as a species.
Such delight! "Oh my oh my oh my!"That woman is sharper, sprier, and more joyful than most people half her age. She's a wonderful inspiration for encouraging the maintenance of good health so that we all can have so much fun at 101. Where has she been living that she didn't see snow before? Thank you so much for sharing this. It's also obvious that you are a loving son who still cherishes his mother's company. As a mother of a son myself, it gives me hope for my own relationship with him as we age.
I saw this video and it made me cry it reminded me of my mother who is gone now I lost her in 2008 as well as my father and I miss them so much treasure these special moments while you can. God Bless her and yours. I just want to hug her Lol.
My Mum passed 2 years ago next February and moved to the snowy mountains so she could be available for her grand kids in 2002 they are now grown of course, but she loved the first trip up the mountains in June each year to see and touch the first snow of the season. This reminded me so much of what we already miss, but have precious memories of these moments.
Pure JOY, thanks for sharing this gem of pure and heart-warming fun moment from your lives! I hope this wonderful Lady is in good health, and enjoying the Holidays! lots of love to her from Romania.
This is absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing this incredible moment with us. I cannot tell you just how much it tugged on my heartstrings... tears of joy and laughter... thank you so much, Your Mom is adorable!
My grandmother is 95, she can't walk any more, but she is as sharp of mind as your mother is. It's really great to see ppl like them. I hope we will be like them at their age... :)
How wonderful to see your mom enjoying that snow. What a sweetheart she is. God bless her heart, hope she's still doing well. Merry Christmas to you and your family🎄❄❄
This is wonderful to see. Thank you for sharing it. (Also, heard you say "holy crow" and thought "he MUST be Canadian" because I've only ever heard it while growing up in Ottawa!)
When I saw this lady having fun with a simple snowball, I came to the wizard and a strong sense of happiness! It made me tender and if I had the chance to be there I would have hugged her tightly to me 💖
This is so great! Sometimes it feels like we are just overwhelmed with news about horrible things - mass shootings, animal abuse, politics, etc...and then there it this! It brought tears to my eyes and reminds me that there are beautiful things in this world and we just need to look for them! Thank you so much for posting! I'm going to bookmark it to watch when I need a lift again. :)
Yesterday I got stuck on the crazy side of youtube (conspiracy theories, crazy political hate from both sides, and celebs who talk to much). This popped up on facebook and happy I clicked. The joy your mother has here is something everyone can use, even if just a fraction. I think I will go out an save the world now, well maybe not save the world but at least enjoy it just a little more. Thank you for sharing.
What a delight! It's so wonderful to see someone her age still in childlike wonder making a snow ball. What a sweet, sweet, spirit!!! I'll bet she's a joy to be around
Your Mum is so awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this.I hope one day I can share moments like this with my son should I be so blessed to live such a rich long life.
Thank you for this heartwarming video, it brought tears to my eyes! What a lovely spirited woman your mother is, and you, you obviously take a good care of her so a special thanks for that ♥
25 секунда. Она наклоняется и поднимает снег с земли не сгибая колен!!! OMG! В 101 год! Не все мои тридцатилетние-сорокалетние друзья и коллеги могут так. Она восхитительна! She is amazing!
Armand, please give your mother a big hug from me. I lost my mother some time ago. So now, i ask others to hug their moms "from" me. That is how I hug my mom now... through others. This video is very touching. Make it an extra big hug.
I've had this in my favourites for many years now, and come back to this video every now and again even after 6 years. I saw a comment from two years go that she was still well at 105! Is your mother fortunate enough to still be with us?
@@armandfoisy4678 so sorry to hear that. What an amazing age for someone whom was clearly an amazing person, and it’s nice to know that over the last years I’ve been watching this she had still been here. Best wishes to you all.
