Hey Friends 👋🏾 Thanks for tuning in to today’s budget with me video! It’s payday which means it’s time to budget. I’m feeling some type of way about my budget at the moment, but I’m grateful to know how to budget at all. How do you budget?
Hey Debbie! It has been. I miss it so much but I’m happy to still post again. The grocery budget has been consistent, I’m just running out of food ideas 😂
dont you have your month ahead envelope, use that money get rid of tht cc debt and then build it back up that way you aint really loosin any money! glad to see you back.
sorry i did not mean to nose into your business, i was just worried as i know how hard you have worked to get out of debt and i sure dont want you to get back in.
Hey Hey, watching while working. I use the split payment method now going fwd, paper planner, cashless method and some cash. I'd give $100 a little bit more such as 115 or 120 since things are cost more
Great video! Congratulations on completing your 10k 🎉 I will be fully funding my 10K Emergency fund with my 2nd pay in December. I am a cash envelope budgeted who uses pen and paper. I would love to see your 20k journey/plan.
@ohshebudgets that all we could do right as long you don't give up! It gets bad before it will get better! Just keep the Faith Strong, and we all will get through it one way or another, my friend!!!
I’m beginning to think my grocery budget for myself is too high. I do $65 a week as groceries where I am are expensive even with my stores app and rewards. I think your budget is fine for 5 but maybe add a buffer for the holidays or buy one or two items extra to get you through. I am so glad you’re okay! I was starting to worry ❤
It’s been working but with my kids growing and son apparently going through a growth spurt they’re eating more. 😂 I’m always missing you guys when I don’t post but still trying to balance creating videos, working overtime, and life. 🤭💜✨
I have the option to do budget billing for gas and water/lights and used to be enrolled in both. I was losing money with both because my bills were never really high enough were I could benefit from it. I did however reenroll for the winter months for gas to help keep the bills down a bit.
@@Numb2FearWhy? It will always make more sense to down pay all outstanding short term debt, both to reduce cost, mitigate risk and release more funds into your budget when fully paid down. It also opens up more security in having higher credit available if needed. The "let's save while we owe"-thought has and will always be one of the things that fascinates me most about Americans 😅 It simply makes no sense, what so ever. But hey, each to their own 🤷♂️
I agree for a family of 5 that should be at least $125-150 It’s just me and I budget $75 a week and here is why.. I don’t eat a lot of pasta.. nor do I eat white potatoes or tuna.. I refuse to buy that.. .. I don’t eat a lot of bread.. I only cook with eggs I don’t drink milk either…. But with my budget I keep extra food.. idk how old your kids are but if you have a teen girl look out..Also a man needs more ..especially if he has a harder job….we are African American we have a higher matabolism…. Notice kids always want a snack??? The food we buy now isn’t as filling as when we ate growing up..
hi! I'm a pen and paper budgeter! I have a family of 5 too (almost 6) and we typically budget around $100 per week. It just causes a lot of strategy and definitely meal planning. 🤎🤎
@@ohshebudgets yes, it's a lot tougher now. and it doesn't help that my boys are picky eaters. I am still trying to find a balanced meal that they all will eat and make it continually. Ibotta and Fetch helps a little for rebates.
