Don Hammond So, you’re more concerned with this Preachers TITLE than you are with the Word that this man is preaching? There’s always ONE in every crowd... #tragic..

@@jasondavis3816 Hello Mr. Davis. Scripture says in I Thessalonians, " Prove all things". Psalms 119: 104, " I hate every false way". John 12:43, " They seek the praises of men". Job 32:22, " for I know not to give flattering titles..." Matthew 20:26, " If any man will be great...let him be your servant". I John 4:6, " there is a spirit of truth and a spirit of error. The spiritual gifts of God do not come with worldly titles. I Corinthians 12: 28, and he set first in the church: Apostles, Prophet's, Teachers... In John 17th chapter Jesus assured his disciples that the Father would send the Comforter who would guide ( lead, teach, instruct, keep ) them into all truth. No PhD nor any man made titles . One Apostle was a physician. That is a vocation.

@@jasondavis3816 Psalms 111:7 Holy and Reverend is God's name. No scriptures support an alleged minister being referred to as Reverend . Man seeks praises of men with titles not supported by scripture. Christ declared believers deny themselves. Christ entire walk on Earth was " humility" not exaltation.

@@soundjudgement3586 I do agree with you Sir, however, I have a question: Have you met this Pastor? The reason why I am asking is because just because he has a title doesn't mean that he isn't just as down to earth as any other man with those titles. These titles were given to him as a result of his education and his devotion to his craft. That's not proving to me that he is "stuck up" or arrogant as a result of studying, perfecting his craft and calling and becoming more educated. He was awarded these titles as a result of everything I previously mentioned, but a lot of times that doesn't change who he is. He may just be the most humble man you've ever met. Have you at least given him a chance to show you that? Probably not. I'm not here to argue or debate that, but I will say this; I am an ordained minister and I am on my way to attaining my Master's and then going on to my Doctoral Degree as well, but EVERYONE who knows me will still be able to call, text, refer to me as JASON.. Because a Degree or two or three will not change me as a person. It changes my level of knowledge. Jesus Christ Himself bestowed titles on his disciples.. He's not here to do that anymore, so when this Pastor furthers his education and attains titles because of it, you mean to tell me that his titles are on trial? What about the message that God has given him?

Reverence is what we do to God, reverend is different than reverence. Just like Paul was called an Apostle. Reverence means deep respect for something or someone

We live in this world & deal with these issues. Jesus knows & understands, there is separating of the two. We are multi dimensional; spiritual, physical & emotional
