I would have killed to see The Young and the Restless old school '85 to view Jack and Victor"s feud when it was brand new and fresh a d what started it all/who did what to who. Over the years it got stake a d boring watching all the. Backbiting and bs and I tuned out. It was like get over the petty drama!

Massengill had been a large pharmaceutical company, until 1937, when its gross negligence (and the lack of strong FD&C laws) caused the Elixir Sulfanilamide disaster, in which hundreds of people across the USA were poisoned.

The meat cutters' strike began at Hormel, and lasted until Dec. 30, 1986. It was vicious and violent, and when it was over, only about 20% of the striking workers got their jobs back. And Hormel sold its pork-processing division to another company, which slashed wages and benefits, and worsened working conditions.
