Who ever is in charge of "Grind", maybe y'all can help me out. I've been hunting waterfowl for close to 40 years. I've hunted all types of conditions and methods, mostly solo or with 1 or 2 others. I've killed many ducks. I'm not asking for lessons or tips. What I am asking is that with shows like "Grind" that a positive and ethical presentation of the sport needs to convey an image of the modern waterfowler. So, far...so good. "Grind's" videos are respectable. However, there are many other "channels" or videos that portray gangbang game hogs who have party hunts. They are actively breaking laws and ethically corrupt. I'm not sure how to stop this trend of "GoPro Heroes" who insist on showing their hunts and yahooing it up. Frankly, they are giving the good duck hunters a bad name and they are tainting the image of a time honored sport. Their toxic, aggressive behaviors are overwhelmingly gross. They are their own worse enemy and will turn the general population against the waterfowling community. Please, help!
Wiles, thank you for the comment. You've nailed it on the head, all we can do is continue to educate, and that's by remaining ethical and abiding by laws. We do our best to make our show family oriented, tasteful, and promote the sport of waterfowl rather than the big piles.
@@TheGrindWaterfowlTV thanks for the response. Maybe I'm being "chicken little" and the sky is falling, but if the real hunters don't speak out, the results of this negative image will impact us as a whole. I would like to think that there are hunters in the "public eye" that will have a positive influence. I'm not looking at "The Grind" for the complete answer, but as a part of the answer. Maybe like a network of positive & ethical public influences. Thanks again.
@@korymullen7066 yes they can still work in a field but its not as fun. I shot a triple goose string last year my year old lab got them all and the last one was around 150 yard swim one way by the time he could get to it and he got back and was ready for more but i felt like i had to give him a break and passed on ducks and he looked at me like i was crazy.
