Do I own any guinea pigs? No. Do I own ANY small mammals? No. Am I still subscribed and obsessively watch every video? Yes! Absolutely love how much you love and care for your pets🖤
You should do more rat videos! I know theyre not the highest demanded video or anything, ill always watch all your videos. But rats will always be my favorite 🖤
I’m a HUGE fan of elevated feeders for cats! I think everyone should use them. My vet recommended it because my cat was getting food stuck in his esophagus and would end up throwing it up. It has helped a lot!
Thank you Alysa for your love for your animals! I spend a lot too, but pets are everything to me, Iam always looking for good things to buy, too! I enjoy your videos! See you soon!!❤
I just started watching your videos a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with with your channel. I don’t own any Guinea pigs but i do have a hamster so in a way i understand the money that it takes to own a small pet (or any pet) and the joy of decorating their cages!❤️
ahh!!! The guy who runs Oakhurst is seriously so sweet!!! I've gotten to meet him a few times and the amount of love and care he has for all those piggies is incredible.
We will be following, planning on getting guinea pigs next year. Little by little we are getting everything we will need for our future pets. Trying to make it as comfy as possible. And I will get them for Christmas in the upcoming year. My kids will be 5&8 & 13 by then. This will be the biggest and cutest surprise ever. Looking so forward to that and also to your vlogs so I can learn in advance😍
That's a really good estimate considering the amount of animals you have I was guessing more. With my bunnies my bull snake and my false water cobra snake it adds up at the end of the month. Question: Do you find shopping online or in store better budgeting for their needs for the month? Which do you prefer? and are their items that you prefer to buy in store/online?
Hey Alyssa! I'm becoming a new piggie owner this Christmas and I wanted to ask if these all seem like a good set up for the new piggie! I'm only getting one as the one I was interested I'd very aggressive with other piggies but I'll be working sum out to get another piggie next to this one's cage so they can sniff and what not. My list 2x6 C&C cage with fleece Fleece hiding dens (2) Water bottle Food bowl Litter box for the hay Toys Am I missing anything? I have vitamin C pellets, fresh veggies, and ofc Timothy hay.
Hey I’ve been watching your videos for a while I know I am not subscribed but I will I really love your videos I am. Planning on getting to Guinea pigs do you recommend anything? And if you do please tell me please
QUICK QUESTION: if i get 2 baby female guinea pigs from the same cage will i need to bond them when i get them? or will they be fine without bonding?? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BTW!
I love your videos and hauls are my favourite. But I hate how I’m so slow to watch them because every time you post amazon stuff it’s sold out by the time I get there. 😂
My ferrets will only ever use the bed I got from them at five below though it might have something to do with the texture of the other beds I've gotten them in the past but at least I know what they'll sleep on something cheap
You can feel however you want. I have tons of stuff for my rats and they don’t destroy everything I give them so I don’t need to buy them too many extra things at the moment 👍🏼
suggestion for future video: when it comes to guinea pigs ... shopping on a budget, getting all essentials for the LOWEST price possible but at the highest quality. In fact I think that would be a great challenge. The reason I say that is because there are a lot of audience members you have that may NOT have the same kind of financial stability that you have, and then they see your videos and all these amazing things you get for your animals, and at the end that person now feels like the worst pet owner because they can't get all these extras for them that they may deserve, but not necesssarily need. Yes I've been in that position, so thats why I am suggesting that.
I totally understand that but it’s not my fault as a content creator to make people feel better about their financial situations. You’ve commented on almost all my videos on multiple channels talking about how much money you do not have and it almost makes me feel guilty as an animal owner because I like to spoil them? I will keep the suggestion in mind and try to make budget videos but please don’t accuse my videos of making people with lesser money feel like crap for not having money because that’s not my intentions…
Honestly think she did a great job because she is showing what is essential and what’s not and is just to spoil them! If people do not have money to buy the essentials for an animals they should not be owning them.
@@AlyssaNPets clearly my message is getting mis read or mis understood. I'm sorry if my message made you feel like I am shaming you for anything. That's not what my intention is... Obviously I love your content and videos. I was just merely suggesting something for future content.. I'm fully aware it's not your responsibility to make your audience feel better about their situation. I wouldn't expect that from anyone.
If watching a haul video makes you feel guilty bc you only buy your Guinea pigs the bare necessities, that is not Alyssa’s fault whatsoever. She can’t just buy hay and pellets every month and expect people to watch that as a “haul” video. If seeing someone else spoil and take great care of their animals triggers you to feel bad then maybe her content isn’t for you. But I personally love these videos and look forward to them, so thank you Alyssa for taking the time to make this video 🙂
RU-vidrs aren’t just content creating machines, they’re people with lives and other responsibilities. Creating videos is a ton of work and I know Alyssa posts as much as she can and works tirelessly on her content. So just enjoy what she does share :)
Are you putting them in the dryer? I’ve noticed many of my Guinea pigs things get destroyed in the dryer and I always just air dry them outside instead
@@AlyssaNPets no I don't put them in the dryer. Maybe I just have a bad washing machine lol. I've washed them by hand before but that's just takes up too much time lol
Super random but why don’t you feed your cats/dogs the same brand of dry and wet food? 😅 proplan has a great sensitive skin and stomach dry food, it’s actually what I feed my dogs.
I had no idea how to properly take care of the guinea pig I had. His name was Forest and he had portcullis. He was free from Petco due to medical issues. Petco gave me a small cage for him. He lived for a long time, but I took in a cat for a family member and overnight she killed him. I’m devastated. But pet shops need to teach people how to take care of animals.
