Who cares about Journalist Philip Hersh thinks ! Anna is a beautiful skater but she has terrible jumps . Trusova is an athlete that went through a phase that wanted to fulfill her dream to be the first woman to jump 5 quads perfect or not this was something that was not possible for a woman. But, today she has matured reached her goal and skates beautifully ❤ trusova is not intimidating to try anything new she’s a fighter !
Sasha and Anna can win at int'l competitions without quads for sure but they would have to outscore the skaters with quads and 3A at domestic meets to get the spot which is highly unlikely with the likes of Petrosyan, Akateva, Muravieva, Gorbacheva and Tuktamysheva in the mix.
Petrosian is the only one who jumps quads. Everyone else with quads (daria and alina) easily lost to Anna frolova and Ksenia who can't jump any ultra-c. Anna and Sasha don't need quads if Petrosian easily secures 3 spots for them at worlds.
@@savanahbabyyyy Petrosian and Akateva (when she comes back) are solid locks. Muravieva is most likely the 3rd pick (would be a lock if she's under Eteri, kind of). Sasha and Anna have no chance of outscoring Muravieva or Tuktamysheva with only triples. Unless they'd get handpicked to compete at the Grand Prix. But Worlds and Olympics, I don't see a chance for that.
@@wkim22 Akateva has not proven anything after her stress fracture. Until she is back at full strength I will not consider her a threat. Muravieva was horrible this season. Her 3A has left her. Anna and Sasha would have outscored her with her how badly she performed this season. Anna can score 80 in easily in the short without a 3A while Sasha...she'll get bonuses because she's popular so they'll give her 80 to keep her skating over Muravieva. Muravieva though just kept getting worse. Falling in the most dumb moments (step sequence again). Still fell at the channel one cup on her 3Lz after removing her 3A completely. Tuktamysheva has suspended her career, lost her 3A, and is not coming back. She can't even jump 3A for simple jumping competition with no official scoring. Lost her 3A so it's easy wins for Anna and Sasha. They both just need to wait for Petrosian to get another quad injury like they all got when they did quads the olympic season.
@@savanahbabyyyy Sasha and Anna have not proven a single thing post Beijing. They won't survive in Russia with only triples. Not that they'd settle for it anyway. Especially not Trusova.
@@wkim22 They proved they can still jump triples which is more than can be said for Sofia who still hasn't jumped a single jump til this day. Sofia Akateva still cannot jump anything to date with her stress fracture. Not a single jump. Anna frolova and Ksenia just won medals in Russia with "only triples in Russia. Keep dreaming the level has dropped and no one other than Petrosian landed quads in seniors. Anna and Sasha would win with just triples. The only problem is Adeliia Petrosian who will be injured with quads like all the girls from Eteri and Plushenko. If Anna and Sasha go back to quads they will go back to injuries they had the olympic season. Sasha's stress fracture will return with quads. Anna's knee pain will return with quads. As long as the level remains like the international skaters Anna and Sasha can keep doing triples and just wait for Adeliia's new injury from quad that will take her out like it did to them as well as Adeliia before.
