Now, Ghana's Ambassador For Females In Technical Education | TTI | TVET 

I completed St Paul Technical Sch with General Course in Construction, went to T/Poly for Diploma in Civil engineering. I later went to US to complete my degree in Civil engineering which took me two and half years instead of four. Today I am an assistant director of public works for a major city. I owe this to my technical education from St Paul because what I do right now can be trace back to my technical education.

I'm mad 4 her English and presentations. May she get a scholarship to study outside this country. I so pray 4 her.

I am a pharmacist and my passion for the profession remains absolute. Honestly speaking i didn't get enough motivation for technical education from the basic school until my wife, a TVET educationist enlightened me on their programs and prospects. After being exposed to technical education, it has become a passion for me to enroll onto some of their programs on part-time basis. Thanks for educating the public on technical education. The culture of advertising/publicising schools is not the norm in Ghana, and as a result, most people chase a few schools. In the UK where I live, there are about 3 days in a year where the secondary schools open their doors to showcase what they do and facilities they have to prospective students so that they can make a choice. You can also book an appointment to have a tour whilst others provide virtual tours. Schools can pay HSA to do a tour of their campuses and advertise on the channel to attract high calibre students.

I am a product of TTI, Automotive engineering, I have never being jobless since I completed 2006, and currently working at Dubai as Head of heavy duty technician in my company, TTI has help me a lot, i am proud of my school, my advice is take your lessons serious, and you will come out as a great person.

I'm a product of Asuansi Technical institute and also Ttu which I studied welding and fabrication and also mechanical engineering (production option), I got employed right after NSS so I will encourage anyone out there that technical/technology will also be part of us. My problem is people really look down on the Technical education and my families equally did that to me and it affects me today.

The lady has spoken well and I think if our brothers and sisters in the JHS level are given fair Knowledge about Technical schools, it would help. Because during our times there, the way our teachers exposed us to grammar schools, you would think that Technical schools are for only the dump but not knowing it’s never like that.

Sometimes what dey bore koraa mpo be that when you apply for military or police they will tell you your certificate is technical cert and dey will not allow you. Cos they do same thing to me when I apply for military 🪖, I pass all the process but as they saw my cert norr they disqualified me.

Sorry, I have to call out this title @Highschoolafrica. Female means biologically being able to produce eggs. There are female plants and animals. The term doesn't refer to human women exclusively. Lets respect and honor the humanity of women and call them women (or young ladies or girls where appropriate) and not reduce them to their body parts. Fact: during slavery Black women were referred to exclusively as female for the express puroose of stripping them of their humanity and equatting them with animals. The white men didnt refer Black women as women becuse it would put them on par with their own mothers, wives, daughters. And that would mean they couldnt justify enslaving and raping them. The word female does not mean human. Human females are women. Bovine females are called cows. See how that works?
