This is part of the value of the true mirror to be able to understand why people relate to you the way they do, especially in the positive ways that are possible. So much gets lost by being reversed to us, especially our smile, which is the key expression that makes other people smile back.
If you have a great smile, or you smile a lot, then that's what you're going to see out in the world. But you wouldn't know it by seeing who you see in a regular mirror. This disconnect is occurring for every single person in the world, it's no wonder that we're all a little bit off when it comes to our self-image and how we actually are, and actually how other people see us.
