Willow Bay, director of the School of Journalism, has a conversation with Judge Judith Sheindlin, the presiding judge on the Emmy Award-winning Judge Judy.
Judge Judy is my entertainment pill. I don’t miss her programme here in the UK even if they are repeats! I wish every lawyer and judges have the same conviction as Judge Judy!
We need Judge Judy on the Supreme Court! There I said it, we need her. Bring common sense back, defend our Constitution, interpret our laws. She can do that, she would do that.
The only woman on this planet who is so honest, straightforward and intelligent. I could and would watch anything she appears on and must admit she has taught me how to raise my children, just be listening to her. It really works. Living legend. So curious to watch her new show. Not yet in Australia but will try utube. Love her so much.
Hi Judy judith you are a wonderful lady a judy of love, and peace and happy you are very honest watching you i have learned lots from you I love you and always praying for you that you will live long and good health all the best god blessings Canada
I LOVE HER TOO..I KEEP WATCHING HER WHAT AND WHERE..I KEEP LISTENING HER..SHES TRUTH IN WORDS...IT TEACH ME TO BE CAREFUL AND DREAM WITH CONFIDENT...THEN U CAN HAVE IT..NOT EVERYTHING BUT MOET OF IT...
Great interview. She explains that SHE is making judgement and is unbiased by the producers. She's a truly amazing judge and woman. I can count on one hand, after all these years, I've disagreed or wondered where she came to her decision. Also I watch old shows on RU-vid everyday.
Thank you for this, a great portrait of a good strong woman. I admire Judge Judy so much, I never miss her show because I get it recorded on my dvd every day. Judge Judy cares about people, cares about young people. She tries to educate and give them a clue. She is often times the mother they never had. She is an educator, she teaches, tells you why you did wrong. Most Judges don't do that, they just rule. Judge Judy has probably raised more young children in the afternoon than some parents.
I was encouraged when I watched Katie Couric interview her and Katie assumed JJ was a feminist. JJ set her straight that she never felt the need to align herself with any women's groups. Katie didn't know what to say. Check it out. It's in the very first part of the interview.
I really liked this interview but if the folks at USC who put all of this together were true professionals they would have fixed the mic problem right away instead of having Judge Judy hold a mic the whole interview.
faznout what irritated me more was the fact that they chose to do the interview in the main hallway of the school. Also, having them sit in front of the stairs was so distracting!
Judge Judy.....although I don't always agree with you....for the majority time I do. I absolutely LOVE you. Now, that I'm disabled, you have truly entertained me. Plus smarten me up, as well. I don't go a day without watching you. You're never boring. I bore easily. However, with you, I never get bored.
Listening to her makes you realize that true feminism is not allowing yourself to be turned into a victim. She doesn't identify with the current feminist ideology because she truly believes she is just as good or better than men. There is no doubt in her conviction of her worth. She never needs sympathy nor validation from men because she feels like she is better. Truly inspiring person and someone whom I wish my granddaughter will look to for her own aspirations and way of living.
I love her passion for fairness, responsibility, and the like. She knows that being nice is not always useful and is almost always defective in the long term. I really wish I could get her word out even more, she is respected so if these words are cast outwards, people would adopt it easily.
This woman is amazing!!! I love judge Judy she has clear mind and all her best understanding about all sort of topics, about different kind of people, to know what are their expectatives, and how to do the things with passion is the best cousel, to have good thinking, responsability. All my respect for you. Judge Judy
I’ve watched her shows over and over. Only once did I disagree. And even then I may have been wrong. I absolutely adore this lady and she inspires us all to be true and honest. Even when I have made mistakes, admitting to them has made others respect me more!
I only DVR 3 or 4 shows on my Hulu.. and one of them, the main one is Judge Judy. I love her--mainly going off on idiots in her courtroom. Gives me satisfaction in life :)
I really really really respect judge Judy &love her shes straight forward with people love it❤💗❤💗❤❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗❤💗💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💓🧡💛💞💛💞💛💞💛💞💛💞💚💕💚💕💚💕💚💕💚💕💙💟💙💟💙💟💙💟💙💟💜💌💜💌💜💌💜💌💜💌🤎💝🤎💝🤎💝🤎💝🤎💝
She is just such an intelligent, beautiful human being. You can't listen to Judge Judy without learning. And for the record I have a huge appetite for plain speak. And I use the words I don't know everytime I don't.
Judy just understands a few simple principles which many fail to any longer grasp today: boundaries (between right vs wrong, adults vs children, your's vs mine etc); that THE Truth doesn't have versions (vs "your" truth or "my" truth); and that actions have consequences~or basic ownership, accountability and responsibility vs entitlement, victimhood, blameshifting and fingerpointing. Her plain speak is the antidote to today's 'wokery!'
UGHHH, nothing irritates me more than "MY truth" or "YOUR truth". Those are ambiguously, repackaged phrases for the word OPINION. So, move on PC freaks. There is truth, and it's applicable to all. If you don't agree, then you have a right to disagree. Don't mistake truth as an opinion. They are facts derived empirical data (however collected). Logic has much to do with truth as well, but it's not subjective. Facts are NOT subjective.
I went to a Montessori school from 4-7th grade. It really is supposed to be more of learning through your senses, and yes it is student based. Now no, of course it's not for every kid. But in those types of school, they have a really good student to teacher ratio. It is a really good kind of school if your kid needs more attention than public school can give. And I've even volunteered in the lower elementary in college, and no the kids don't just do whatever they want. They do have some structure. It's just not as rigid, and it's easy to be easy flowing when you have 5+ adults in a room with 15 kids, as opposed to 1:15 students. It worked for me because I needed more guidance than the public school could get me at the time. But in the 8th grade, I went back and I was okay for the most part. It was only a little tricky adjusting to letter grades and realizing that teachers now have to worry about 30 kids in middle school vs. 8 students in a Montessori middle school setting
I dont care if you like her or not, I f you agree with her or not...if you dont respect her, i can say with certainty...you are 100% wrong. Numbers dont lie. She is the most captivating person, in her deliverance, in my opinion. ...so well versed , educational and entertainting. 1 in a million!
You cNt say with 0% certainty that anyone is Wrong as you or anyone else gets to decide who's opinions are right or wrong as its an opinion a"feeling" of our own personally everyone has the right to have one
Very surprised that USC used such a weak mic system. That mic needs to be held very close to the speaker's mouth so that speaker might be heard. This was not worthy of a communications school. Also, the interview seemed superficial.
Menrio Effendi The word she used was "polysyllabically" in reference to the man she was talking about, she was more or less saying that he often used singular words which had more than syllable - as that is the definition of polysyllabic.
We need HER as The President... Give her the facts, let her determine who to negotiate with or bomb off the face of the Earth. It won't be flippant. Plus, she's a real person who commands respect and returns it. She'd never trade a Russian arms dealer for a drug smoking Olympiad. And I'm a damned Democrat...
The only problem I have with JJ's advice about making yourself indispensable to your employer is that many of us are stuck in jobs where we actually can be replaced easily by other people who are so desperate they will take half the low pay I make. She makes $42 million a year so she is very out of touch with the job market in 2017. Her advice was right for people with a pretty good education 45 years ago.
All I heard in this was: as a woman, do you think women, why are women, if a woman.... Judge Judy said in the Katie Couric interview she's not a feminist.
Yes I agree with you about her response to Trump.I tend to believe she does lean toward Trump but thats a hot topic and afer all she has an audience of lots of Reps AND Dems.
2023 And she has a new show called Judy Justice I guess she didnt feel what shes saying about Byrd I guess she didnt think he was valuable to the show and no one wouod say Wheres Byrd ? Why isnt he on the show because many many have asked and Judge Judy did him dirty and her new show isnt the same without him.
This is a lady who is funny on her show sometimes but as well has made generalized statements in regards to the wonderfull goodness of this country and how they give & give & I quote "to everyone" & seems quite angry & offended. But conveniently forgets that Christoper C. didnt discover America this was all Indian land until it was stolen they were slaughtered & does'nt acknowledge that this country was built on the backs of slaves for free for hundreds of years after being kidnapped & trafficked to America & their children were seperated & sold ripped from their parents & murdered she doesnt seem to be angry or offended by that though & surely doesnt mention it. ( I HOPE SHE READS THIS SO IT CAN REFRESH HER MEMORY) 🤗
You can tell the truth all the time, but there’s a way to say it. Harsh words stir up anger. She call people idiots. What if someone came back at her and called her an idiot? She wouldn’t like it. I think she’s just old and cranky
