I used to work (was participating in contract negotiation and stuff) during 2020 for this One Bangkok project. You know what, even i myself, am amazed at how fast the construction can be. During my tenure there in 2020, the groundwork (like pumping up the underground water, footing, cementing etc) was still not completed until mid-late 2021. In other words , you couldn’t see any structure poking over the earth surface yet until Q3/4 of 2021 that they started the real structure work. We started seeing anything grew taller above the makeshift wall by Q2/2022. And boooooom, in Q1 of 2024, they are semi-opening the first phase in trial. 😮 No wonder, it’s one of the most massive private-owned projects Thailand has ever had in decades with the budget up to 120 billion Thai baht. And they had resource to hire 1,000+ field workers to run it 24/7.
This upscale project is worth years of updates, Jeroen! No, Bangkok is never boring! By the way, I would imagine there is a huge underground parking lot? I wonder how many cars it can accommodate.
Thanks Jeroen! Always good seeing you. Bangkok will never cease to amaze me. Equally, your videos too will never cease to amaze me. Keep up the outstanding work my man!
Love it. Currently staying opposite in the Aetas hotel on the 20th floor with a great view of the construction (although noisy at night!). The area is going to change so much once fully open
Where did you get info that signature tower will finish 2029 ? As far as I know from Thai media news it will be ready in 2027. All ground work is done so they only have to start the 1st floor and I also heard that we will have another Apple Store here in One Bangkok. Too bad that Apple decided to postpone Apple Store Emsphere so I think we won't see it there.
Yes we met at there on that day and excited to see your posted vdo too. Can’t wait to see your next post to keep update this campus Btw hope you enjoy there and should be more in the future too Thanks See ya soon 👍

No ,we have flood on rainy season.we love sky train than MRT(underground train ) and we can see beautiful view from above.Thai peoples don’t like MRT than Skytrain- BTS.Thai peoples love above view from window BTS popular than MRT.
@@PongSak-s9w even flood since the blue line is underground they raise the elevation for the entrance, proof it works, you wont think of scenery when the whole skyline is crowded with concrete elevated, structers.
I miss the old Bangkok, just boring office buildings, huge shopping malls and apartment blocks. Not sure what is so good about the One Bangkok. That was the location of the old school Lumpini Boxing stadium and a market where you could enjoy yourself. This is just another huge building without any soul.
@@withoonkaewsathuan4728 another keyboard warrior, calling me an "imbecile" is a bit harsh. You also say that in real life to people? Anyway warrior :) 15 years ago there was nice night market and the Lumpini station, it wasn't a CBD area.
