The only problem with Chris having a fire is that he needs a long-reach excavator to keep his equipment from melting. Just a little more giblets won't hurt. 10 minutes later, "Damn, that's hot!"
Alright got another fire by Chris. That’s cool. Like how your getting your place done up the way you want it. It’s coming along nicely. Thanks for the video Chris.
I saw a farm neighbor once use this method to burn a stump - He took a steel Wheel from a tractor trailer or loader ( 10 studs or more ), torched out the center leaving just the outer steel rim circle. He then put it over/around the oak stump, that he had drilled some holes in, dossed the stump with fuel and set it on fire. The rim contained it and could also be used as a low burn barrel.
My neighbor across the road cleared 3 acres around his house. Made 3 big piles of timber to burn. I helped to save some hardwood for fire wood in my house. One late evening he set one stack on fire. The flames reached 50 feet. The next thing you know, the firemen showed up, put the fire out and told him not to do that again. I have to admit, it was mighty dry in upstate South Carolina this fall.
I bet your home is brand new still!! because you never get in it and just relax?? Hard workers are few these days! congrats on your success in business and your channel growth.
It was nice to see a little rain. But it was windy today and it dried out quick. I'm waiting for a dusting of snow to burn. Got piles that are a year old. This El Nino weather pattern is strong.
Good day, Chris have used a blower on occasion, I recall an ocurrance where the blower was in a trench blowing at the fire in a hole, and the excavator caught on fire due to embers "raining" down on the engine compartment and setting some leaves on fire which scorched some electrical wiring of the excavator.
To wet to play in the dirt.. no wind to speak of.. and LD18 has a fire pile somewhere to burn. And this one was a good one.. nice and hot… I always hear Eddie Murphy from his Delirious album… “No That’s a Fire!”…
Have you considered getting a skeleton bucket to use when re piling the burn piles, iy would clean up the smaller pieces and get a cleaner bike when done.
Can we all just stop to appreciate the way AOC would lose her ever-lovin mind if she saw this video. I'm just envisioning it, meditating on it. It's enjoyable.
On the Morning not Rain and not Wind. The best the old Wood heap to Kindle. It give a great Fire. And the Rain is to come. A Inspect 😊 through the Farm and to the Pond, Water to run in the Pond. The Fire go to End, the last Stump new orderlx. A good Day how You much Work make 💪👍👌
Chris you may or may not read this I understand what said about pond mud being clays But did you also know that clays are very rich soil but it's lock up in the mud so that being said Like I said before when you burn on you're place mix that ashes in with the clays plus other top soil were you don't have enough top soil Just leave it then next yr you will have fine top soil for good jobs around
Clay soils are not rich soils. By definition they are composed of fine grain hydrous aluminium phyllosilicates (kaolin) they also often have other minerals like iron, magnesium, alkaline with no organics. They are very poor soils. Also, mixing them with ashes won't make top soils. Top soils are defined as soils containing mixtures of varying amounts of clay, silt, sand and most importantly humus which is highly decomposed organic matter. Unlike infertile clay soils, top soils are rich in microorganisms, beneficial fungus and bacteria as well as beetles, nematodos and earthworms. Quality top soils take decades to thousands of years to form. Amending organics to clay to make them fertile must be done continuously from year to year to have any longer effects.
1 of the biggest fires 🔥 I've seen you do through the years,!!! Now that is what I call a White Man's Fire 🔥 Not small, stealth Indian fires,,,.LOLOLOL ❤Stay Safe my friend 🙏
The only rental at the moment that has been shown in the past month is the Hyundai haul truck. In use on pond build with the horseshoe shape dam, shown in the last several videos.
That was an awesome fire. Maybe not the biggest, tallest, whatever but very satisfying. Love seeing the farm, Chris. You guys have a beautiful place there.
I’ve owned my own pool building and renovation business for 43 years. Partners with my brother since I was 19 years old. I am now 62 years old and let me tell you, there is absolutely no substitute for hard work and passion. Chris is the REAL deal. THIS IS WHAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT. All the best in your continuing success, my friend !
That is pretty much what makes America great. Remember America is a continent not a country. The United States of America is the republic or country, America is the continent we share with Mexico, Canada and several other countries.
Love me a good fire video! Thanks for the pond update as well. I can't wait to see that when it gets full. Take care, have a great evening and God Bless ya Chris!!!❤😊
I used to be a firefighter and for training we burned old buildings they couldn’t get this old barn to light so I made my own mixture when it literally it blew the sides off and roof fell but the fire out I was banned from lighting any more lol
Chris you sure do know how to get a hot fire going. That looked like a very hot one for sure. Remember not to leave the excavator to close to the fire for too long of a time. I remember in a previous video that the heat actually crack the window on the excavator that you were using at the time.
Always good to see a great camp fire on the farm bro. Summer here and still getting rain like last summer, well never really stopped long enough to say we had a dry spell of any kind for well over 12 months. Safe travels. Ken.
Fire is amazing when you think about it. You start with many tons of solid material, and it turns more or less into dust. It seems to defeat that conservation of energy thing, and as Star Trek's Scotty used to say, 'Ye Cannae Change the Laws of Physics'.
