After almost 3 years of use, it's time to give you my opinion (retex) on the Becker BK9, manufactured by Kabar.
This is a large 23.5 cm knife made of 1095 Cro Van steel (5mm thick), Grivory scales, and a nylon sheath
Nicknamed the "fighting bowie knife", it is considered by some to be the survival knife par excellence ... in any case it excels at cutting, chopping and batonning wood.
Its a rather fine grind (20 ° per side), which also allows it to come out honorably in finer tasks.
Its particularity: absolutely exceptional handle ergonomics ! you have to try it for a few hours to believe it!
Obviously, his tactical, tacticool, rather aggressive side does not allow him to go unnoticed ... little opportunity to use the beast in public, so ...
Its main competitor is ESEE Junglas, which I have not tested but which is 50% more expensive.
