Full polka versions of Call Me Maybe & Get Lucky Too bad he's not releasing albums anymore, otherwise, he could release a full album of polka versions of songs. Then, as a bonus track, he would have medley of the songs on the album. What he could also do is make parodies of songs, but, instead of them sounding like the original versions, they would be polka versions. (Like if he changed the lyrics to Bohemian Polka, instead of just making a polka version of Bohemian Rapacity, or polka versions of Eat It, or Fat)

What's even more impressive is that Weird Al apparently asks everyone he parodies for permission before doing so, which means all these people (or at least the people who own the rights to these songs) said yes. Which is pretty cool considering some people don't; Prince notably never let Weird Al cover any of his work. Kurt Cobain, on the other hand, said that you know you've made it in the music world when Weird Al asks to parody your work.

Another thing I've heard is that when Al did "Achy Breaky Song," all of the money was donated to a children's illness research charity. I don't know if it was Al's idea or Billy Ray's, but apparently helping ill children was more important to Al than the money.

In the case of Scream and Shout, I can’t take it seriously either. And I listened to it after this! Afterwards, Scream and Shout is a pretty unintentionally hilarious song and it’s not just because Weird Al did it.

I just saw Weird Al in concert yesterday, and he did not disappointment. It was completely fun, he kept the audience in the act and entertained, and he didn't sound bad at all. He sounded exactly how he did on here, which I think is hard to find now a days.

I had a bizarre yet awesome dream a couple weeks ago in which I used this very song to fight evil! In the dream, I was at a movie studio with some other people, and some kind of giant evil being wearing a brown hooded robe invaded the studio and started somehow harnessing aspects of movies to attack us, culminating in him/ it converting movie music into energy blasts at us. I don't know why it occurred to me (Logic in dreams is pretty weird), other than in maybe a "You like music? I'll give you music!" kind of attitude, but I suddenly got to a stereo, put in 'Mandatory Fun,' and set it to "NOW That's What I Call Polka!" Sure enough, the opening 15 seconds or so of it seemed to somehow harm and flat- out defeat the baddie (I forget if it killed him or just drove him away)! POLKA POWER!
