One of their first tunes that their music was starting to change, on the flip side of the 45 (rpm) "Day Tripper". This was about the time their iconic song "Rain" came out. Instead of talking about boys and girls and all that mushy stuff, it was a song about the WEATHER of all things, and was another break away from the "She Loves You" days, which would be gone forever.

not this live version, but on the album, as a Beatles fanantic and a guitarist that's been playing for over 500 years, the ringing guitar sound on this record is amazingly well recorded, I didn't realise until a few years ago that it's a Stratocaster, I wonder how they did it, it's not rocket science, it can be done in a recording studio but for the time it's amazing, but that's no surprise because they were amazing.

Terrible sound systems the Beatles had to work with.

John's rhythm guitar was way too loud, it over powered and unbalanced the whole song.

Johns guitar was a bit too loud

The audience are subdued because this and their concerts in Japan were the worst live performances given by The Beatles. They made no effort to rehearse before going on tour.
