NPC With Command Block Tricks In Minecraft Pocket Edition (NPC+Command) 

It's because it turned the block to air before it could activate, put ticks on it. :)

Ok Got it to work. /Summon npc Marth. So if you summon it with a name it works fine for me.

Mee too is not working the npc I named a and is not following me why???? I maked everything right

If your on ps4 just spam add command till its at the bottom theres a weird glitch were it alows u to press it :)

Bro using scripts are a lot more effective but for us people who don't understand script's we have to find another way BTW this man made it harder to use than it actually is it's like a function command but can only run once not repeatedly you can also use c=1 for 1 entity only specify the identifier to be a npc so if player joins with the name "a" as well that won't happen or just use tags or just make an npc manhunt. BTW at 7:20 he could just make it like: execute @initiator[hasitem={item=apple ,quantity=1..}] ~~~ give @s gold_ingot 5 execute @initiator[hasitem={item=apple , quantity=1..}] ~~~ title @s actionbar exchange succesfull execute @initiator[hasitem={item=apple , quantity=0}] ~~~ title @s actionbar exchange failed execute @initiator[hasitem={item=apple ,quantity=1}] ~~~ clear @s apple 0 1 Like that why u making it so much more complicated I guess we both have the same problem XD... Oh it doesn't work now

Change npc name to "a" and make sure to copy the exact command i type on the command block

(/clear @p apple 3) this command is connected to (/give @p gold) so if the (/clear) didn't work it won't give you golds

I just want to remind you that this command has a bug sometimes even the redstone block has been remove to the command block the comparator is still on, it should be off
