@@janaejoaodosacramento9731honestly he would’ve been screwed either way. Either Caine wiped him from existence or risked being devoured by The Fudge thanks to Jax unlocking the bridge gates for it to enter. So a Lose-Lose situation
Caine did mention before the Candy adventure he was using an AI that was 57% more immersive this time around. So perhaps an AI being able to have their psyche shattered is a new thing
3:15 The village probably didn’t even exist. Think about it, these guys were just made by Caine for this short adventure, he wouldn’t go through the effort of actually making a village. Just like when Pomni and gumigoo glitched into the bottom of the map and saw all the character models, Gumigoo’s mom doesn’t actually even exist, because why would she? As long as her existence is coded into gumigoo’s head, she doesn’t need to be real
I swear when Gummigoo died I literally said, “F&$! you Caine!” There’s going to be a point where Pomni will snap and put this talking dentures with eyes in a fricking chock hold!
Don’t harass me but I would’ve done the same thing if I was Caine. If I let gummigoo in then I would be confused on which is a human and which is an npc and which is a who what when where how why, then there would be risks of me deleting more humans and less npcs. It wouldn’t be a pretty mix up, I’m sorry but killing gummigoo was an option I would choose :(
I'm glad you showed the clip of Pomni falling out of bed and glitch-bouncing off that block. I hadn't noticed it foreshadowed Pomni using the test room blocks the same way.
Also Cain is the one responsible for Kaufmo’s death by making that fake exit door and gaslighting everyone into thinking that it’s just a hallucination.
Gonna give my thoughts about the show and characters so far: Even though Zooble got the least amount of screen time, I think that the funeral spoke volumes for their character; they're depressed and angsty towards Caine for forcing these adventures on everyone, but it seems like they intentionally distance themselves from the others so they don't get too attached when they Abstract. Jax, on the other hand, had a "blink and you'll miss it" moment of sadness about the funeral. He's become nihilist and an anarchist as a form of coping with his "imprisonment" in the Digital Circus. Pomni definitely had the most growth and even got a bit of closure with the funeral, realizing that even though she's trapped in the Circus, at least she's not alone. She can also reach out to help others if needed, if she's able to get an NPC into the Circus, she might be able to do a lot to change things and mess with Caine (maybe). Kinger was much more mentally present this time, and even had his own moments of being the voice of reason, to the point where I'm pretty sure he's hiding just how capable he is in this world. He might even be more aware of how certain things work than the others, and I'm really curious to see where that goes. I'm not a fan of the Gangle gag, if she's going to in an episode, I don't want the first thing to be her instantly getting her happy mask broken and then she's sad for the remaining 95% of the runtime. It's already gotten old, and I hope that we either see her fixing her mask or making it more durable. Overall, I loved this episode, and I'm excited to see more.
I find it funny that Cain himself (and likely the others) are also AI. And with Cain constantly devoping new ones, it wouldnt really be out of the question for him to make one as advanced as himself... maybe even as cappable as him
Caine's stated reason for not allowing npcs into the circus is so he doesn't get the humans and npcs confused, and his face while he says that implies it might have happened before, and it didn't end well.
The gummy gator doing the poses (according to my boyfriend) was references to Pizza Tower. Apparently, doing enough of those poses rebounds attacks(?) And during the funerap part, you can see Jax having a sad emotion go across his face; it's a blink you miss it detail. I feel Jax isn't one to show his real emotions, so he's probably in his room to avoid feeling sad about Cofmo being gone.
Episode 3 is definitely coming much sooner than late this year. The way animated shows work is that episodes are worked on by different teams and divided so that multiple episodes are worked on at once. When a team for a specific part of an episode is finished, they move on. This means that when one episode is released, the next is already partially done. Compare that to this episode, which first needed to be greenlit (probably about a week) Then they needed to sign long term contracts with the voice actors, then they needed to expand the teams, write a whole season of scripts, and finally they could begin by starting from scratch. Now all of that up front cost is complete, and they have a head start, it will be drastically faster than the 6 months it took for this episode.
I think ep3 will probably come out this year too. I remember the teaser trailer showing bits of a ghost lady NPC and Kinger with a shotgun, meaning this most likely is the next episode’s adventure. Which I am excited for because ITS FINALLY GONNA BE ZOOBLE TIME!!
@@Rosa-he6xb I’m really hoping every character gets their own episode. Zooble will be first. No idea what’s happening in that episode. Jax will be next, and he’ll break from his protective shell of being an absolute jerk to avoid any emotion, because emotion leads to risk of abstraction. Next will be gangle. She will have her existential crisis ending with the realization that the masks do not control her life. Even though it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s very clear ragatha has been there the second longest of any of them. She’ll get her episode, maybe about her past. Kinger has the deepest lore of any of the characters. There are so many solutions to so many mysteries buried in his head and history, can’t wait to see who that queen piece character is. Last will be an episode about Caine. We’ll finally learn his alternative motivation (because we know he has one) and maybe get some information about the creation of the circus. Can’t wait for C and A lore. Aibel maybe? This show is gonna be so good.
I actually know people who don’t do well at funerals and stuff so I kind of understand why it would be hard for Jax to attend? We do see him sad for a split second before masking it with anger, so maybe he just doesn’t know how to handle those feelings?
This episode made Jax seem like WAY worse of a person than the Pilot. Back then he was just a sarcastic prankster, now he's actively manipulative, destructive, and evil.
That was because it’s intentional the creator said in her Twitter post that as we get further down the line of the series we’re going to hate him even more
So I was the only one who recognised he was a piece of shit from episode 1? This actually surprised people? No no no no. See, what actually happened was people blinded by tumblr sexymen energy willfully ignoring his character. He's no different. Apparently women really do like Bad Boys until they actually notice that they are, in fact, Bad.
Nice to see a breakdown lees than 24 hours after the release. 😅 The episode was definitely did *not* disappoint here. The funeral at the end was especially my favorite.
I feel bad for the gummy shark when he says he can't remember his mom's face it made me realize he thought everything was real he didn't know nothing was real
Absolutely love this episode, was very bittersweet the entire time even if they’re supposed to be in a sweet candy kingdom lol. Also interesting is I have seen and been informed some are making theories on if any of the main characters(besides Pomni for obvious reason) is actually an NPC that snuck their way into the circus. This came from Caine’s scene about worrying of getting NPCs and humans mix up before cutting to him looking disturb(like it happened before). Which if true, then maybe some of the past humans didn’t “die” from abstracting..
This was a very nice Continuation, i really appreciated the Pizza Tower Reference with the Purple Gummigator, had the same sound effect too. Anyway, i really find it interesting how Jax wasn’t featured amongst the Hands grabbing Pomni, it could just be due to how Jax wasn’t at the Funeral, but considering what the curators has said about him, i think it’s a detail worth keeping in mind.
just want to say this is the first video of yours I watched and it was really good. Your scripting, voice, references, and editing are all on point. keep up the good work
My idea or prediction is that maybe Caine is able to store NPCs' memories, and switch their memories to fit the "adventures' narratives". I also believe that Caine not only makes "adventures" for a group, he should also be able to make "solo adventures" (Which are for just one of the humans in the digital circus instead of more than one). And Also, I believe that it should be possible (maybe in future episodes) that Caine could do "special solo adventure request events", a special events where humans in digital circus get a chance to request what kind of adventures they would like to have (usually being small adventures), (I am sure that Jax would request for an adventure with an over-the-top war) Those are just my opinions (and theories)
The scene where jax offers the fudge monster the key is a reference to episode 1 where he has the key to kaufmos room I wonder if that will have any plot significance later down the line or at least it’s a running gag
Something that I feel like went through most of the fandom’s head is that earlier in the episode Cain said that he’s experimenting with a new A.I in this adventure, which could easily explain why Gummigoo is all that aware of his reality, Gummigoo isn’t a normal NPC like the mannequins he is the new A.I
4:02 it’s a refrence to a game called “Pizza tower” where you can do a move called taunting to avoid damage. I viewed it as him doing it to avoid hitting the rocks on the ground
4:00 this is actually a reference to pizza tower, one of his poses is like the protagonist of the game's (the one laying sideways), the sound and white pop effect are present in both versions.
8:10 I didn't even notice that those hands belonged to her friends. I just saw the colors and assumed it was Kaufmo's hand. I have no idea what sort of direction that would take the story, but I now know that's not what they're going for.
Did anyone else notice that the chest piece of Zooble is different in this episode? In the pilot, it was a blue and white hoop, and in this episode, it was a black and white striped square. My best guess is that it, the black and white striped square, was to symbolize a formal outfit for a funeral, like at the end of the episode.
I mean they are working on 2 or more episodes at the same time proven by the sneak peeks with the haunted mansion and stuff so I expect it being this year maybe again in 6 months or sooner on a good day
there are so many nods in this episode to previously animated toy themed movies. The chocolate monster being a clear reference to other monster from that 70s animated raggedy Ann Musical, Pomni falling down the black hole reminds me of Woodys nightmare in toy story two where Andy dosnt want to play with woody anymore, and my personal favorite is when that gumi australian gator just gives up on life, sits down looking down at the ground knowing that his reality is just shattered. Just like buzz light year in toy story 1. Where Buzz was just sitting in the same position as the gator in cids room with a rocket strapped to his back now knowing he is a toy and his space ranger reality is shattered. This second episode is so good.
If you change this video to 0.25 speed at 8:12 you'll see Pomni thinking about falling into abstracting and almost everyone help her EXCEPT FOR JAX!!!!
Watching this episode yesterday has been amazing plus it's nice seeing Pomni being friends with Gummigoo and made him feeling better, well it was short lived because Caine killed him when they got back to the circus. Gummigoo and the Candy Princess are now my new favorite characters in The Amazing Digital Circus plus you can easily feel bad for Pomni after she had that nightmare in the beginning of the episode.🤩🥺
Maybe Jax doesn’t like dealing with emotions, he doesn’t care about right and wrong, probably because he’s desensitized in his own way. He doesn’t want to go to the funeral, probably because he doesn’t want to feel his emotions. He’s smart but not a good person, he knows how to negotiate to say the least.
I feel like Jax was a person forced into the Digital Circus, Pomni being more a curious person who tried it. But yeah, Gummi did not deserve what happened to him, I mean there WERE NPCs in the Circus itself, and the faceless human models were there, alongside one door having the human model on it. So for NPCs to not be there, they sure are reused a lot, to be considered 'not being where they shouldn't be' Overall, an okay episode, but truly, the depths that the game is run by an AI, seems to be... in question since Caine has just referenced AI usage, as if he ISN'T one? He could have said, 'I added more AI' rather than 'using AI'? Unless he was simulating himself as not an AI, or he is a Human who has more control over the Digital Circus.
the first one IS a pilot, to test over all reception so they wouldnt of had anything done anything beyond episode 1 so episode 3 will be a lot sooner than how long episode 2 took
TBH Caine said that the new AI would be 57 or something else times more immersive which when we see all the doors the AI seemed to have evolved a lot when Caine Updates it
due to that there is a diffrence inbetwen "npcs" and non "npcs", i think it means that the main cast is tecnicaly made of playable carecters, so that means that its not just a simulation, its a game, a video game, that you can play and take control of.
I was genuinely moved by Gummigoo and pommis scenes, idk but to me the concept of an npc gaining awareness is so sick and it was so well done too, even know i knew it was too good to be true, at time (moments before you know what) I was extremely excited to see where his character was going to go, but well I guess I’ll have to use my imagination for that lmao.
4:01 if you wanna know the true reference, it is from pizza tower Edit: also they’ve already hinted that they have already animated a bit of the next couple episodes
That part where cain mentions if he doesnt know what would happen if he messed up people with npc has me concerned. If the NPCs dont evenknow they are NPCs, whose to say that pomni and the crew arent NPCs of the circus that cain has made to be the players of a game abandoned by people ling ago. They cant remember their names just like gummigoo cant remember his moms face. It never existed.
7:56 I feel like jax does care for kalfom "( dont know how to spell his name) because he does seem a bit sad when being told to join, but instantly changes his mood. maybe he just wants people to think his the rude jerk of the group?
Gummigoo, the gator dude, was using an Ai that caine developed, likely to make a challenging antagonist. The reality is that gummigoo IS that ai, not the gator. The gator was a model that caine designed. Its likely that gummigoo will appear sooner than you think but operating through another model as another character.... but considering how intelligent and smart he was then its possible he might grow stronger as an ai. ESsentailly a rogue ai developed by a rogue ai.
I don't think Pimni's an NPC tbh. But I could see it being the case for someone like Jax or Kinger. Curious to see if any of these NPC theories come true later on though!
well in programming abstraction is it using bits and peices of methods or classes. so Couldn't it be possible that abstraction grants Caine new methods or information to make the Ai's better. mixing and matching methods from each abstraction. and when classes are abstract that cannot be created as objects or called by a constructor. buuut abstracts can be used in other classes to reduce work and make things easier and faster, with some stuff being reworked in the child class.
Im only half way through this video but based on how Gummingo reacted to finding out he was an NPC why does Cane even need humans? Npcs seem to have a similar range of emotions. Is Cane human to some extent and so he needs human connection and thats why?
Remember, Caine is simply an extension of the circus. He’s a pawn in someone else’s game, y’know? The circus itself is still being run by someone on the outside.
