By chance do you run standard plus p or ultra fast low weight? I pretty much only use liberty civil defense now due to the ballistic advantage over almost every 9mm
Will the Comp/Barrel Combo for P Guns be Sold to Existing Owners? Answering Q's from SHOT Show 2024 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oxQhWP8LGZ4.html
That’s pretty sweet. Taking the comp off for cleaning or switching setup can be a pain in the butt. They are ahead of the curve with this. They should’ve named it something other than the “THE THREAD-ON COMPENSATOR”. 😅😅😅 Nevertheless I found it and I guess they’ll have to take my money. 😊
We want to see our 920 barrel and compensator to upgrade our older ones as soon as possible. We have been waiting since last year when you showed it at shot show and now the guns are coming out and I appreciate that a lot but we really need one of those barrels and compensators for my gun.
Would love to see an MR920P with this same style of compensator. Would also be very very cool if you guys sold tri-lug barrels for MR/XR/DR pistols that were compatible with this compensator.
Mine is impossible to remove that easily. I have to push in the detent and then use a third hand to hold a small piece of aluminum against the part that moves, and a fourth hand to use a small hammer to knock it so it starts to open. Others also have “tight” ones that don’t seem to be loosening up.
I have the same problem, I had to use a jewelers nylon hammer to tap it off. When the compensator is off the barrel the lever moves easily. But when its attached to the barrel, it doesnt move at all without using thr nylon happer to tap it free. I emailed shadow systems, waiting for a response.
@@808G8GT Well, about an hour after I posted that, I stuck the tool in and just pulled it back, and the darn thing opened right up easily. I'd say it's definitely QD now. Have you shot yours yet? I'm guessing mine loosened up after shooting.
Shadow Systems actually responded to my comment about the compensator lever being hard to open. They told me to run some rounds through it. It will loosen up.
@@nyuu444 I own a cr920p it’s that the slide on the combat or elite is that’s the comp doesn’t fit flush cause the guns front contours. Theirs a new vid on shadow systems channel showing a demonstration of why they don’t have slide & barrel package yet.
I just got my CR920P. I tried to take the compensator off as per instructed, the lever does NOT move. I tried over and over again. Even bent my punch tool. What i had to do was depress the pin, and use a jewlers nylon happer to gently tap it to move. When the compensator was off the gun, the lever moved easily. But when its on the barrel, it wont move like on this video. I hope shadow aystems can shed some insight.
The comps are extremely tight from the factory. You’ll want to put at least a mag through the gun before trying to remove the comp. It will be much easier after it’s had some rounds through it.
Hey shadow systems I’ve heard you guys say the comp needs to go through the break in period before it’s easy to remove but what it if the comp is not easy at that point cuz mines not and I’d like to clean the gun after 400 rounds it ran great through
Neat. Now if someone would get back to me about fixing my CR920 that won't keep a mag in it that would be great! Won't answer emails or phone calls..... Customer service definitely lacking.....
Love my shadow but the trigger never broke in like i hoped, even after almost 4k rounds it is far worse than any other gun ive ever owned, even all the glocks (7 different factory glock triggers between my brother and i) but i cant bring myself to change it for safety and reliability purposes but the trigger really dissapoints me 😕 for whatever reason my brothers Shadow trigger is noticably better and its the same gun. MR920 Elite and he only has like 500 rounds through his. It bothers me every day lol
Please email my Technical Team about this at support@shadowsystemscorp.com. It sounds like you may need a new trigger if you’re noticing that yours feels different than other Shadow Systems pistols.
You did that very quickly.. My compensator will not come out. Are you pressing down once the tool is inserted or up? I am afraid to exert too much pressure. Please help me out..thanks
My CR920P compensator is very tight! It cannot be opened and removed with that tool. That tool has been bent while in use. In this case please tell me how to solve it, thanks a lot !
Hi David, a little more force maybe is needed in the correct direction. As you depress the plunger and apply rotating leverage with the tool, use your off hand thumb to push on the underside of the lever where the recoil rod is located to apply additional rotation force to the lever. We can make another how to video tomorrow if you can’t get it. Let us know. Trevor
@@ShadowSystemsCorp Thanks for the quick response. I tried today....following your suggestion but still can't open "it". I also tried putting some lube in there...but it just felt like it was "sticking firmly". My hands are cramping...please help me😅
@@houstonhall3501 Hello, Thanks for reaching out. There is a possibility to sell a barrel/comp combo for the CR920 in the future. Currently they will be allocated to use for the new CR920P. I recommend to sign up for our newsletter to be notified when new products are available. Please feel free to contact us for any other questions or concerns! Thank you Pedro Olivares Sales Support Representative
He said it should work on a CR920, but that the "lines wouldn't match"--so it won't look as nice, but would function just fine. I know MANY of us CR920 owners don't want to buy a new gun but would love to throw a comp on our gun, so I'll be holding out for this or a 43X ramjet that fits--whichever company gets something for me out first.
Hello, just to confirm, you have contacted customer service to request the replacement? We have a fast process for these replacements, so if you have been waiting after contacting us, it may have been lost in transit. Please email support@shadowsystemscorp.com. We are back in the office Tuesday.
@@ShadowSystemsCorp how long have you guys been out of the office? I sent an email initially in November and got an email back on the 8th of December inquiring about an email address and I replied pretty quickly to it if you guys have been out of office since the holidays I can understand.
