Best game I've seen from Munster in a while. Awesome game most likely these two will be the Grand Final if Cleary isn't ruled out for the rest of the season, congrats Storm that was a gritty win.

Thats how you beat the panthers. Making plays they least expect rather than playing structured footy. Munster and hughes kicking game was on point. Well done storms. What a game.
Hughes has seemingly tapped into the fountain of youth this season. With him playing so well, I don't know if anyone can stop the Storm..? Even Penrith!
Panthers not being back 10m has absolutely nothing to do with the call. You don't see refs stopping play on a regulation 20m restart because the defensive team aren't back onside.
@@cloudsssssssssssssssssIt’s not about not getting back, it’s about advancing forward having not got back. Rule 8.2. Regardless, for a penalty, either infraction must be deliberate and I don’t believe either was.
@@cloudsssssssssssssssss yes it does. look at the rules for optional restart. both players need to be onside. so therefore, the penalty was the wrong call. and edwards being far more offside negates the storm offside 0.5 metres. and the initial challenge was for the tap which they lost, then edwards calls him offside and yes at kline then kline tells the bunker to check it. just one of many errors from kline. the incorrect sin bin of nelson which initial contact was the back and slides up, play on. later in the game anderson has to leave because he gets hit in the head with a shoulder no sin bin for panthers. no sin bin for the professional foul on pap.

Melbourne #13 waving arms and moving to distract kicker. He stops (presumably because Klein told him to) looks directly at Klein and then starts doing worse No balls Klein slinks away again

@Ben Wick what are you on about? Klien did everything to give Panthers that game. The Penalty before halftime was a wrong call. Storm were supposed to get the ball back and tap instead he gave Panthers free 2 points. He ignore a leg lift by a Panthers forward just after half time, sent NAS to the bin for absolutely no reason, he didn't even send Mitch Kenny for 10 for a dangerous high shot on Anderson. Try to watch the game without being one eyed. Embarrassing!
Man, close game. I would say I wouldn't want to be any other club facing off against these two, but Roosters facing Panthers without Cleary might mean we're not gonna see the Panthers up for a 4th.
That was a tough win from a tough side with a great coach. Penrith play the same gameplan every week and it usually works but they are now so predictable a fully committed strong side can defeat them. Am no fan of the Storm but that was a great performance and they can get better don't know if Penrith can.
Would have been a much better game if the Bunker could get things correct - especially the Nelson aspect and 10 mins in the bins for the Bunker and Refs mistake! Good game and Wishart had a blinder!

That was a great match, between 2 teams who do so many good things. Something about the Storm felt like they had the energy, desire and skill and tactics to beat Penrith for the honours and home turf.
Jack Howarths a machine,Coates to come in,id leave Welch out,Storm have suprised me,didnt think this could be the year but geez i think the only couple of obstacles in denying them are still Penrith n themselves,thats it,they got tonnes of ability every position now,when ya got players of the calibre of Faalago,Wishart,R.Smith n Welch whom cant get a start in the 13 ya know ya got an elite roster.cmon storm
Such poor officiating.Congrats to melbourne but it took them lots of penalties no one had any idea about and a obstruction try and nathan cleary getting injured to do it.Going to be a good finals series with melbourne,Penrith,roosters and maybe even dogs if they keep improving
Contentious call went both ways and Munster was off for the same period as Cleary so it was fair overall. Can't complain since dodgy calls went against both sides. Penalties went the way of Penrith for most of the game before it almost evened out...

I hope Cleary is OK. I can seriously see the Dogs put it over the Storm. Storm have more skill and experience but the Dogs have something that cant be taught and that is heart heart which impresses me more. They are dying for each other on the field. Incredibly inspirational
That 1st try should not have been awarded, the triple headclash should not have been a head high penalty to storm. Penrith got more penalties but Ashley Klein made sure the storms got the penalties that matters, what an absolutely clown.

Casey mclean will be bigger and better than Stephen Crichton... I watched both in lowers and Casey stood out alot more then critter ever did when it comes to flare etc.... next year will be his breakout. Ps penrith havnt had theyre best 17 once this year... and theyre 2nd😮.... theyll dominate finals.

@@zionsaleupolu9536 Disagree, King pulls Cleary back as he is trying to get up and Cleary's arm goes above the level of his shoulder, which is a vulnerable position for dislocation. It's really sad for Cleary, but I don't think his shoulder was 100% to get reinjured like that.
@peluskonabe6131 These three teams are just getting better the longer the season is going especially the Dogs with their combination's, defence and attack has finally clicked from all the new utilities they bought last year & extreme training regime along with their hunger to win and heart they are showing in games. You can't underestimate a team just because they are lower in the ladder as they needed time to tinker on who plays where along with building combinations which takes time and finally clicked.
You won't be playing the weaker teams comes final. Final is different intensity. You gotta have a couple of more gears for that. Those teams can't match it with top 2. Just look at Roosters in Round 20 coming in red hot form just for Storm to smashed them. Lol
Panthers won last years Grand Final from 2 Goal Line short drop outs that went badly for Broncos. In this game they do a Short Kick and give up a try in the next set of 6. They then go to the half way line and kick off deep? If it is such a good idea at the Zero why not do it on the 50m? When will players realise that obstruction is not a good idea?
