Matt coopers was the best I thought. The strength needed to not only stop a man charging at the line but then to pick him up and force him in the opposite direction is incredible!
Stevie Jackson He wasn't slow, Sattler was a bit lucky that he caught a foot and stumbled slightly after he got the ball and then had to accelerate again. If he'd taken it on the fly Sattler would have never caught him
this is probably my favourite part of the game, espeacialy when you see forwards make huge efforts at the back end of the game (Sattler, Hindmarsh) to come out of nowhere to stop a try, thank you.
Fair call by Alexander on the Meninga tackle. He is referring to Mal in the 1991 grand final. Brad izzard ( big guy too ) was over the line and Mal treated him like a Qantas luggage handler at the end of a double shift. Mals ankle tap on Mick Neil in the 1989 GF was the best tho.
Great video. Only oversight is possibly Matt Seers chasing down Brett Mullins, which I think is probably the 2nd best try saver of all time behind Scott Sattler's effort
How is no one taking about GI's try save he stopped him, stripped the ball, jumped over the side line to throw it back in and managed do it all legally with going out 🤯
You have to feel sorry for the toh's 2:52, he was in the dive for the line and just didn't land. Thanks for leaving commentaries in and not putting music in instead. It way more fun listening to the league commentators.
Lads, Union is the real Rugby when will you fellaz take your love for Rugby to the next level .... I was once a League fan but once I got older and wiser - Union has more ways to score , more competition, and more followers and more entertainment
