Thanks to you and anyone that assisted in making the RU-vid get together possible. Jamie, i, and the boys had a great time and it was absolutely fantastic. The Show itself has a life its own, the buyers and collectors making their way through the aisles as the life blood of the hobby, just as the sellers and exhibitors keep that circulation strong and flowing. i've found that having a specific goal, working toward completing the 69 set within financial reason, has helped me navigate the chaos without being overwhelmed by the sheer size of it all. Thanks for stopping that first day we were there to say hello to us. Good luck in the future and Happy Collecting!
Watching Bench tell Chris from Missouri that "Your barn door is open" was the best thing I've seen from all the National vids so far. I didn't clearly hear Chris's explanation after he said "I did that on purpose just for you".... ??? Bench looked confused, at best, with the explanation.
Hearing Chris come back to the house and tell the barn door story was one of my favorite moments from the week. Glad I got to see it on video. That Campy is beautiful
That Campanella was great!! Read his book and watched a TV show he did in the 60s. Great personality who rose above his disability and set a good example for all of us.
Awesome video Mike!!! First off that 2020 pack is fire 🔥 just saying lol 🤣. That Campy is awesome and not a bad price easy. That was a super quick deal. That Staubach is a beauty!!!
BINGO Mikey! Great score on the CAMPY! That starts up the day. From one catcher Yogi, to another..Johnny Bench!!! Same hat too. Fantastic memory Chris, Congratulations! And Dan too.
Johnny Bench is all out just a great guy, got his auto over here at OC Sports Cards in Anaheim, got out of his seat and took a picture with me, great footage of him Mike 👍🏽
Thanks for helping put together the hangout. Had a great time meeting several people there. So many people in the show , you don’t even have a chance to see everyone. That Campy auto is cool, congrats on that find. Awesome 84 Donruss cards too.
I'm sure glad I'm an avid watcher otherwise I wouldn't have known about the koufax Perez Steeles that I missed . THANK YOU for helping me get one..your commission check is in the mail 😆
Last night was fun thanks so much for organizing.. Right there with you being out of budget - but so happy to have the cards I picked up. That Campy is unreal. Congrats.
that massive long line is just another reason I dont go to the national.. late july heat of summer standing in that line.. no thanx… I’m glad to see there are people in the hobby willing to do it…. hobby strong for sure !
Johnny Bench was great, I had him sign my childhood rookie card, though i had to wait 30 minutes after you. Thanks to you and everyone else who put together the meet up. It was so fun.
Mike, I know just what you're saying about special moments that happens in the sporting card industry. I had that happen to me. I tell everyone I buy and sell cards. I a lady who my customer. She gave me her collection she bought for her son. 5000 in cards. I had another customer this year give a collection he was putting to gether for the grand son. How daughter had a girl. This collection was worth 25.000. I call it good karma. It comes back to the right person. Thanks . That's my story. Sporting card dictionary.
Mike, I’m the Sam who met you at Craig’s booth later in the day. Thank you for taking a moment to greet me, it meant a lot. I must admit, I have felt horrible since walking away for not walking over and shaking Craig’s hand! So Craig, if you’re reading this, please accept my virtual handshake! 🤝 Also, great pickup on the Campanella! Safe travels home.
