Sometimes trusting your gut is the best decision to make. I learned that by not trusting my gut and then learning that everyone else that did better than me, was doing what my gut was telling me to do!
Good stuff man. I'm not a fan of geese either. They're like the billy goats of the air and water. Those smallies sure are pretty. I thought about pulling out that Cull Shad. I've barely fished it yet. They kept biting the little swim bait, so I mainly threw that. I didn't get any shakeyhead bites, which seemed really weird.
I’m glad someone else is on the same page with me on geese! It apparently worked at the classic, so I wanted to try it. I didn’t stick with it long though, but maybe I should’ve. When you don’t get bit on a shakey head, that’s weird. Usually can get bit on that over other things most of the time.
