the thing is on F1 cars the rims are pretty small with huge "balloon" tires on them ... so i guess they where more about keepin it real rather then good for pro racers

Do the black body components come off the main body easily or are they permanently fixed?

They come off, but a Dremel is best for sanding the post melts

Hello. Can you tell me please what key did you use for the set screws (front axle height adjust screws)? Is it an Allen hex for M2/0.9mm?
