It's not getting any play time anymore during the holidays on the radio or anywhere else unless you specifically ask for it, or just simply play it here on RU-vid. Why, you ask? Well, that's because it says "Merry Christmas" to many times. It will trigger someone else who doesn't celebrate Christmas and then next thing you know, that radio station is accused of racism and bigotry and off being some kind of "Phobe" or another. That's what wokeness does my friend! It's destroys everything it touches.

Wasn't growing up in the 90s the best or what we had it all before social media destroyed everything, the kids are robbed of so much, remember making copies of your tapes for friends, and walking all the way to your friends house and seeing his dad's car is gone and you just know he's not there lol and then checking all the smoking and drinking spots, and when you find eace other you would make the biggest public scene you've ever seen in your life, boys!!! And soon as they see you there kicking bus stops, fist bumping random members of the public, one of them is dropping a freestyle for you and your just dancing your way over to them, good old day's.

I have listened to this every Christmas since my Mom bought me the album and put it in my stocking with my first portable CD player in 1998. It's my own personal Christmas tradition. I lost my mom in 2000, so this one of the things I have to remember her by. Here we are 21 years later. Time flies.

I remember this from back in 1998 when I was a senior in high school. I remember selling this Cd in the electronics Dept. at Big Kmart. We played it in the store,too. This video always reminded me of an Old Navy commercial from the late 90s. Maybe because of the clothes. I miss those days. Sometimes I wish that I could go back for a while. Even today at 35, I still believe that my best years are in front of me. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!!

This still feels modern to me even though this was released the same year I was born. I’m 25 now, I really enjoyed hearing this playing in Big Lots! Last Christmas season. It was warm for that time of year, now spring feels colder than it should. I was a fall baby, but I still prefer things warm as most people would. You’re so right, the last 25 years or so since the late ‘90s really seemed to fly by!

Amanda L. If you think the album name was weird, the songs in it are even weirder. I honestly think it is one of the main reasons JC’s solo careeer didn’t take off. Coming from a mega successful group, that debut album was so important and Schizophrenic was do damn disappointing - the lyrics, the production, the lack of sonic cohesiveness. 🤷‍♀️

This song didn't exist last year but you wouldn't have known. You see, I am a time traveler from the future that knew 2021 was going to suck so bad that a great Xmas song would make things better. I went back to 1998 and suggested to Justin, Lance, JC, Joey, and Chris to make a song that included lots of "Ooooooh yeahs" and a significant amount of up and down tone pitches while being inclusive by mentioning God and Santa a few times. They all agreed and this masterpiece was created.
