This story hits home. My parents’ life are somewhat similar to this story except they ended up divorced almost a decade after they both arrived separately to the US. I honestly think that if he truly love his wife and kids he’d find a way to go back to them no matter what. What bothers me is that he just thought of himself at the time and decided upon himself to remarry knowing his wife and kids are somewhere struggling with people who aren’t his real parents. Which is why he ended up taking care of his wife because of guilt. May your parents rest in peace together.
