Hi I am a South African. NTSU is a South Africa snuff that was used by our ancestors. When one is chosen by his/her ancestors to be a sangoma (traditional healer) they normally crave a snuff, because the spirit of the ancestor is within that person. Snuff is mostly used by sangoma's but now is used by the young generation that claim that they have been ordered by their ancestors to use it. People grow it's plant when it's ready to be used they mixed it with aloe and grind it until it's fine then they use it. Snuff can also be used for healing purposes if you have headache or to young children when they have a sickness that affect their anus, snuff can be inserted inside their anus and the child will get better. Snuff can also be addictive to the people who use it.
Lol hai it was never ment for those with a calling, it's actually a drug dear .. just like cigarette. We often use the home made 1. It clears the mind so we can connect better but if u chill you'll notice you don't need it.
And sometimes when the message is intense we get hectic headaches so it helps or if you're a bit blocked n they can't come though, throwing some on the ground n smelling the remaining will also get you there
@@Snuffbegins the home made will knock you out😂😂your spirit guides will come running to save your life 😂😂😂 n I'm glad you took an extremely small portion compared to how much folk take in this side
I'm south African and can't believe that my people believe that they can talk to the dead using this stuff. If it was possible this would be known worldwide This is sooo cheap
I have to say I have grown to love this snuff & the Taxi's but I mix it with Viking Blond and White Elephant to make it finer, stronger and easier to take. Brilliant natural flavour and lovely buzz. It's a bit like smelly cheese in that I love Parmesan which basically smells like sweaty feet and taxi is like cow pat but for some reason it's got to me and I'm pretty addicted to these Taxi / NTSU now but I always blend them as they are too coarse to use alone and I like the boost of the White elephant and added flavour of the Viking Blond. In short this is a really fantastic natural product that took me a while to appreciate but once I blended it then now I'm really hooked and need to have this in rotation daily. They should maybe do a finer version. It really feels like you are getting the pure rich earth of South Africa in your nose and I live thousands of miles away. It's one way to travel lol.
I am getting some sent my way I have not really ever done it. I have a sampler and I picked out some cool icy ones I know I am gonna like. Anyway I have watched a few vids on the technique. One of them was yours so cheers!
I'm starting to suspect that people who come to snuff from a background of using snus, chaw, chewing tobacco and that sort of stuff, they tend to gravitate towards schmaltzlers, rapé's, Taxi, NTSU, Babaton, Viking Dark/Brown, etc. It's what we associate with good, proper, reliably strong tobacco.
100 Vids Congratulations!!! Have yet to try the South African Snuffs, to be honest im in no hurry. Side topic I wonder if anyone has attempted to grind a moist snuff like NTSU down to make it a bit finer, my fear is that it might just turn into a thick mud.
It does grind down into what I hear is a much more acceptable snuff, a little drying too and it takes away some of the ammonia/barnyard scent. I haven't done this myself as I just don't like it that much lol
would you say it smells like cat pee? i got some sg black rappee, out of the tap box was great, i ordered a tin, and it smelled like a cat litter.. When reviewer say 'ammonia smell i always wonder if they mean cat piss
Yep cat piss, even though it just means the snuff is fresh ( I think if gives off ammonia from the fermentation process ) there's no denying it is a cat piss smell!
SnuffBegins yeah well i almost ordered some at multiple occasion because i tough the tin looked cool but i've always been doubtfull of the content, thanx!)
The newcomer to snuff will doubtless want to try the strongest, baddest there is as soon as he has got the hang of snuff sniffing on one of the more benign blends. South African snuff is definitely not for the faint hearted. The first SA I tried was Babaton Blue which I included in an order with three or four other snuffs. At first I did not think too much of it compared to Viking Dark but to my surprise I found it was the first empty tin of the bunch. I had clearly become a fan in spite of my professed indifference. As with black olives you will end up either loving or hating NTSU Black. I don't think you will sit on the fence for long - you will topple one way or t'other. Most of us have nick names for our beloved objects - mine for NTSU is 'wildebeest droppings' - not that the grind is that coarse or the pungency that strong. In fact my latest tin (plastic box) seemed remarkably mild in the ammonia/cowshed department - which may have something to do with me becoming acclimated (acclimatised for English speakers) or for it being old stock... hmm? Not a chance! It is very fresh, slightly moist and sticking to the spoon. Perfect!
A question as a noob..... do you ever clean out your nostrils like at the end of the day for example? And if you do how do you recommend doing it. Thanks in advance
