Also known as the NU Cheer Squadron, the NU Pep Squad takes on Disney classics to win 3rd place in its first ever podium finish in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition
i really believe that NU deserves to win. they have improved a lot and look at them, they can do now VERY difficult stunts... only them and UP were able to do that 3 tier pyramid...Im sure naiingit lang ang ibang shcool because they dont see NU as a threat for a podium finish...aminin niyo...
I was 12 years old when this happened, it was magical. Now 23, I'm proud to be called an alumni of NU and this team will always be my inspiration of resilience, determination, and passion.
DI pa sila ganun ka sharp nito. Pero yung routine nila sa NCC. Grabe. Next CDC pwede na sila mag champion. Ayusin lang nila yung theme nila. Dapat ma showcase nung theme nila yung talent nila.
hindi ako galing UAAP member schools, galing ako University of Manila na naka based na abroad, nakaka aliw panoorin, magagaling silang lahat, yan ang masasabi, pero sa NU tumayo balahibo sa galing nila ngayon, congrats National University, next year 2nd na kayo o kaya 1st na, kaya araw araw practice!, ha! ha! ha!
para sa akin.. top 3 ko FEU, N.U, then UP, may ibubuga ang n.u hnde lng mailinis stunts pero amazing.. yung mga pyramids swak. then maganda concept.. gsto ko yung showmanship sila kesa sa UP AND FEU then mas unique ang choreography.. kulang lang sila sa energy.. pero thumbs up!! nice N.U keep it up >>> im from pirates
hindi taga UAAP or NCAA ang school ko. pero fan ako ng cheerleading . eto ang masasabi ko. Natatawa ako dun sa mga haters hahaha. KUNG WALA KAYONG KAALAM ALAM SA CHEERLEADING. TALAGANG HINDI NINYO MAIINTINDIHAN KUNG BAKIT SILA TOP 3. MGA BOBO PAKAMATAY NA KAYO. MGA BULAG BA KAYO?! KITANG KITA NAMAN ANG DIFFICULTY NG ROUTINE NG SQUAD NA TO COMPARE SA MGA SINASABI NYONG DAPAT SA TOP3. i believe in this squad! lalakas pa ito. at KAYANG KAYA NTILANG MKIPAG AGAWAN SA TRONO NG UP AT FEU.
hey its been a year every month ko itong pinapanood minsan many times pa because yung stunts nila na realize ko na mas difficult pa talaga sa UP the one man rewinds,stunning while sa UP group sila na nagmamount ng rewind the 1-1-1 nila galing toe touch then boom! compare sa up na toss up lang ang tumbling pass nila grabe super paulan ng fulls and flexibility ng NU top notch kaya kung naperfect nila yung routine hay ewan ko lang kung di pa sila magfirst kaya kaabang abang itong NU super improved
In fairness sa kanila, nag improve talaga sila ng bongga. Masyado lang mabilis ung songs nila kaya hindi sila nagkasabay sabay. Pero kung polished tong sayaw nila, malamang nasulot pa nila ang 1st place. UP pa rin wagi sa technicalities stunts e...
difficult stunts among other contenders .. infairness.. even if its not that perfect.. they deserve to join the top 3 cheer leading teams.. congrats NU.. that's what spirit means in this battle.. from: UP pep LOVERs
FYI, yung coach po ng NU came from FEU that's why sometimes may pagkakahawig sa FEU ang routine but it doesnt matter as long as nagagawa nmn ng maayos. im not a fan of NU before coz i really a die hard fn of FEUCS but after this performance of NU, its now NU and FEU in my list! Congrats NU!!!!

Kung mas malinis lang sana ang performance nila, naungusan sana nila ang FEU! Their stunts and concept were way better than FEU... They took the risk, they took the fall - they won as 2nd runner-up! Good Job NU! A well-deserved win!

Mga bitter diyan, difficulty niyo tingan! competition ito, may nanalo, may natatalo...galingan niyo na lg kasi next time. problema super confident kayo na school niyo lang magaling... may nala-LAOS, may GUMAGALING DIN! tanggapin niyo na lg kasi na mas magaling this year ang NU!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! you made it..kung may best costume award sana then nakuha nila ung minor award na un.. getting excited in what will their theme next year, i believe u can make it to the TOP.
Sa tingin ko hindi Disney ang tema ng NU this year kundi more on theatrical and ballet. Walang Disney songs masyado, kasi once na ginamit ang Disney songs kelangan mag secure ng permission from Walt.D at nagkakaso sila talaga. Ang NU this year pinakita na hindi na sila pahuhuli, consistent ang energy at ang formations and transitions ang dami. Kumbaga fireworks routine! Generic padin ang stunts pero kung synchronized sila malaki ang pag-asa sana sa 1st runner up. Iskolars ng bayan congrats!
Ang Dami kagad bitter,19 kagad yung nagdislike kahit wala silang alam sa cheerdance basta bitter sila. lahat nang school magaling pero dapat respeto tayo sa desisiyon nang judge :)) UP-FEO-NU talaga ang gusto ko dahil sa level nang difficulty at ang mga tosses ayaw pakabog :)) i love the pyramid of the top 3 team :)
Grabe improvement nila after 8 years. Actually ang daming nangyayari every seconds here pero hindi pa sila masyadong synchronized yung dismount nila medyo makalat pa tapos yung twist nila hindi ganon ka sabay sabay
Nice routine. The routine executed was more like Japan Cheerdance Standard rather than US Standard. Way to go NU. Something fresh and new for the audience. Best of luck!
NU wows me a lot. aside from their beautiful costume, binulabog tlaga nila ang UAAP CDC. ang lkas ng routine though may mga errors pero WOW talaga! they deserve to win and to be in the top three. hindi porket cla ang host kaya sila ang nanalo.
Wow the energy was consistent! The costume was captivating and stunts were explosive though many flaws. An invigorated school spirit and a reestablished University brand.
N.U. deserves 3rd place, why? (a) Nandun yung snappy and quick movements na makikita din sa U.P. - fast transition kaya exciting (b) Stunts - given na maperfect nila ito at maging malinis tingnan, they can rival and even surpass U.P.'s stunt qualities (c) Theme - Compared to UST, N.U. had it, props, music and flow ng routine definitely much better (d) Attitude - ewan ko lang sa iba pero ito nararamdaman ito, nag eemanate from the cheerdancers themselves....(e) N.U. pyramid was better than UST's.
