York Beach is an iconic, quiet Coastal New England town. It's two iconic beaches, Short Sands Beach and Long Sands Beach entice tourists from all over the northeastern United States to this beautiful travel destination. This scenic drive connects the two beaches by driving around Cape Neddick, home of Maine's most beloved lighthouse, Nubble Light. Many lighthouses along the New England coast, while beautiful, are explained as providing eery, haunted feelings. Nubble Lighthouse has been said by many visitors to offering feelings of warmth and comfort.
