In this video we will be taking you to the amazing sand dunes of Hunder, a beautiful sunset in Ladakh (Hunder), Came ride, Activities in Hunder, Home stay in Hunder and Diskit Lord Buddha 108 Feet tall Statute.
You will find various homestays and hotels in the Hunder and Diskit. We would suggest staying at Hunder as you will also see the sand dunes.
Distance between Hunder to Leh or Leh to Hunder is 126 KMs. Distance between Leh to Nubra valley is also 126 KMs as people come to Hunder to explore the sand dunes. Distance between Leh to Diskit Monastery is 120 KMs. Distance between Diskit to Hunder is around 8 KMs.
Hunder village sits like an oasis in the middle of cold desert in Nubra valley, Ladakh. Seven km from Diskit which is known for its Buddhist monastery, Nubra has acquired fame for its sand dunes, the cold desert that surrounds it, Bactrian camels and its breath-taking natural beauty. Huner is situated close the Siachen glacier and Pakistan border.
Diskit is one of the major towns in the Nubra region of Ladakh. It is a popular destination for tourists and is situated around 118 km from Leh and 7 km from the town of Hunder. Situated on the banks of the Shyok River, Diskit has many homestay and guest house options that are open throughout the year.
