These guys may not think they're big. But, they're "BIG" to me! Nuclear Assault was "THE" band for me, back in the day. Them Iron Maiden, Napalm Death, Slayer, and Death! Regardless - there will always be a place in my heart, and play list, for Nuclear Assault (BTW Danny, I love Brutal Truth)!
fun fact: That tour that Nuclear Assault did with Agent Steel was James Murphy's first time on tour in a band. He was one of the lead guitarists in Agent Steel just as a temporary member a couple years before he joined Death.
I hung with nuclear assault up in Buena Park CA 1987 for 3 days as they stayed up at the house of the guitarist of phantasm, Katon pena of Hirax other band!! All thanks to Katon!! Yeah S.O.D.'s album SEOD was pretty big in 85-86. I'm sure Scott & Charlie maybe considered leaving Anthrax b/c it looked like it was going to sell more than Anthrax. But fortunately they didn't quit. Anthrax's music aged well. SOD wouldn't have. Dan however sounds like he'd quit Nuclear Assault.
Man, as a brazilian I can say tha british accent is something like portuguese accent when we talk about portuguese language. For me is very difficult to understand the portuguese from portugal (here in brazil we speak portuguese). I'm used to talk with anericans in my job, abd I need to say tha british accent us very difficult for me too.
Its funny them saying they just went in the studio and threw together some songs cause record company on their back. They only turn out a thrash masterpiece in The Plague!!
