Holy mother God damn, after all those years John's vocals still kicks major ass. Not many old school bands can keep up like this these days except the mighty Demolition Hammer.
So good to see younger fans giving it up for these guys. I'm 45 and have listened to them since the beginning...brings a tear to my eye. And they're so cool about everyone jumping on stage, fist bumping and what not. Respect.
Tom Wisniewski Fucking pit got dirty for hirax and even dangerous for nuclear assault. good show regardless although I wish there were security guards so there would be no fights
Tom Wisniewski I am 51 years old and I grew up in listening to Nuclear Assault back in the day when I first heard their song Stranded In Hell on the radio and I love them because they're always like political Anarchy hardcore punk.
That looks like an old school show, ppl stage diving and having fun. I've been a fan of them since the 80s, got to meet them, but this show, looked like a lot of fun, but I would've, gotten on stage and sang a long in a death metal voice. Lol
Great sound, great crowd. God I'd kill to be a 17 year old thrasher again. It makes me feel good to see a lot of young thrashers enjoying the classic thrash. I'm a little envious.
Seen them a few time in the 80’s. First as support act and then as main band. They always were a favorite of mine. Something original about this band compared to other thrash acts of the era. Maybe song structure sometimes, or they play a lot of their riffs in higher notes than usual for thrash. And a lot of instrumental parts, that gets me for sure. Great musicians.
Great band. Like a lot here, so good to see old school thrashers getting the recognition they deserve. John Connelly still sounds like he did back then too.
NA was my first metal show (Handle With Care tour). Seeing and hearing them play and sound like this brings me back. John and Dan seem like the most awesome, down to earth dudes. Everyone was having a good time. It was like the late 80's/early 90's all over again.
Man they still sound amazing! New drummer had me fooled for a second he sounds so much like Glenn. They were always one of my favorite bands ever since seeing them in 86(I hadn't heard them before seeing them and they blew me away). Thanks for posting this!
How about it , I’m 54 , seen these guys a few times back in the 80’s , and to see the kids today stage diving just like we did is awesome !! The future looks bright !!
Saw this clip by accident, but nice to see NA perform. Great audience, great band to let your fans enjoy jumping, singing and thrashing around on stage. Respect. Regards from Holland!
Over 35 years strong and still kicking ass!....They are truly a peoples band!...Nothing but respect from performers to the fans and likewise...This is what a heavy metal family is all about!
ABSOLUTELY A BANGER!!! MISSED BANDS LIKE CROSSOVER THRASH METAL BANDS!! LOVE THIS BAND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!! STILL LISTEN TO THIS BAND!!!🎼🤘🥁🍻🤜🤛💯👊🔥🎸🎶🎵
WOW! This is just like when I was going to shows in the 80's. Stagediving and crazy floor, no fucking bouncers. This venue is great and NA still kick ass!
Seen them a few time in the 80’s. They came often in Montreal.
This band is my great white buffalo....I never got to see them. Been a fan since 87 and something always comes up. When the Hell are they ever gonna do a show in the Midwest? They always do select shows
Sorry, brother. Time and circumstance caught up with us. Doing a project as close as possible without getting sued. Look for Blood Method. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, except at how long its taking us to get a release together ! Hope all are well, JC
I live in Milwaukee WI and remember seeing this band many times as a teenage metalhead. Everything stopped when they came to town so I could see them. Johns voice was one that set the band apart from others for me. I would hope they would come around again in the future so I could see them again. I still listen to the albums and tell people who never heard them how amazing they were. The content of the songs and the riffs are forever stuck in my head. I am truly grateful that they could come together after all these years and play again. Thank you guys for all your blood, sweat and headbanging.
Its beyond cool how John shares the mic and even let that awesome black guy who looked like he was wearing Rob Halfords clothes take the mic and a fist pump..........Fucking awesome real band.
It's nice to see this band still rockin' BUT can you guys just change the setlist from the previous five years. Songs from Out of Order (criminally underrated) and Something Wicked are painfully neglected.
Schush AGREED!! Fucking loved them since tbe 80's and yeah Out Of Order has some fucking killer songs on it- Stop,Wait,Think, Quocustodiat, Resurrection, Doctor Butcher etc etc. I dunno why they just play this set either.....
Nick Barker is great but Nuke needs Glenn to be great. Sure, Johns voice is still amazing, Dans bass is still dirty. But what makes the sound complete is the sledgehammer hits on the drum from Glenn. Nick is fast and presise but the god damn triggers makes it sound weak.
Do you know why the drummer wasn't Glenn Evans? Everything I'm finding online about them shows him as still in the band. Was this guy a fill in or something?
@@Brandonmtlhd Glenn retired from live drumming in 2015 due to age and health.IMO Nick adds much needed energy to Nuke. They were not able to blast out the full speed stuff with Glenn any more unfortunately.
Meh, no Glenn Evans on the drums really kills this band for me. He was such an integral part of this band and it shows live. I've been a fan since 1986 and have seen each and every line up, but this line up is the worst...sounds like he's using triggers....
Barker is a great drummer but he's a terrible fit for Nuclear Assault. Terrible. Way to straight and "clicky." NA needs a hard, dynamic swing that pummels like the songs oughta. There are plenty of drummers that lend themselves better to the songs and give it the oomph they deserve. This controlled, precision, trigger drumming is just plain weird here.
