The purple bar that builds up after an S rank indicates how many points you collect beyond the S requirement, until you reach the double of that amount, where the purple bar becomes full.
I think some levels are fine being a little farther from the regular Pizza Tower philosophy, but when you get too far, at some point, it just becomes bad design.
@@ultranitro2361 it’s not bad, it has its things like, it’s far too long, and it takes many liberties, but it’s giving Pizza Tower Kaizo if it was actually good
@@ultranitro2361 but again, it is flaws, for example, it has a lot of precise platforming elements, a little too many, and Pizza Tower despite being a platformer somewhat, doesn’t really enjoy precise platforming, because it’s slippery, again this is not the biggest problem, the major problem is in fact the length of the level which is just too much, Gnome forest feels like it last forever because of how different and awkward Gustavo and Brick are for most people, a lot of levels surprisingly last a bit when P ranking them, but they offset this by being fast, like War is quite long if you P rank it but War is like an extremely good balance between platforming elements which are hard, and quite intense, so the player never actually feels like they are going to do a massive level again when they lose their combo.
Man this seems hard but in the weird way where the level doesn't seem liked it was designed with the average Pizza Tower level design philosophy in mind. It reminds me a lot more of Gnome Forest in the base game, which is infamous for the ability to P-Rank it while also following Pizza Tower's old level design philosophies.
Believe me, I could barely get to a B on my first few attempts. I even started calling the level bad just because I had a skill issue. But I still persisted and there's the final result. So thank you.
The way my jaw dropped when I saw those Peppino clones melt in the green goo, I was thinking it was reskinned sticky cheese until that moment. What is that stuff?! Like how do you do that?
What im guessing the level takes place in: The first part takes place in a futuristic (possibly alien) city full of toxic waste, while the second part takes place in some sort of pizzaface related temple.
@@sirmemesalotmeme6827 go to Peppino’s switch spawn on the editor, click plus, type “escape”, enter, type “true” and you should see a john escape spawn thing above Peppino.
Yknow if this level were toned down in length just a bit, this could honestly fit perfectly as a dlc level Doesn’t really fit in the base game but as dlc it would be amazing
Listen buddy, I also had a lot of trouble with Gnome Forest a few months ago. It took me a long while to get this good (and even then this level still took around 2-3 hours to P rank).
