Hi Mahender. Thanks for reaching out! In Australia, the cost of a cochlear implant can be covered by State Government funding, private health insurance or the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). If you have access to any of these funding options, the best place to begin is with a cochlear implant assessment to determine your eligibility. If it is determined that you could benefit from a cochlear implant at an assessment, then you may be eligible for cover for cochlear implants by using one of the above funding options.
