The crack you were working probably has a ton more merc down inside. When you put the small gad bar into it, the whole rock moved. It would be worth pulling it and cleaning all around it. A 6' or an adjustable length bar would pull that area apart. Reed
I think you're right, the rock was super hard but with a bit of leverage and horsepower could probably crack it open. I'm sure i left a good amount down there, alot of little pinch points in the crevice and spots too narrow for the huntley spoon

Yikes that's scary, once that mercury gets in your body it aint coming out! I haven't messed with burning the stuff off yet, but a respirator and gloves will be handy when i do
@@insidebendprospecting Wrong. Cilantro the stuff in every mexican dish has been proven to chelate mercury if taken with chlorella. Look it up. I burned off mercury with a potato. Cut a raw potato in half and cut a plug out to put your almagan in and tie the potato together and then put it in a pile of hot coals and cover. The potato will absorb the mercury and leave the gold.DONT EAT THE POTATO.LOL
