Behind 39 points (13-22 FG, 9-11 3pt FG) from Klay Thompson, the Warriors defeated the Nuggets tonight in Oakland by a final score of 122-105. DeMarcus Cousins added 13 points (5-11 FG), 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and a season-high 6 blocks in the victory. Malik Beasley led the Nuggets with 17 points (5-14 FG), while Nikola Jokic finished with 16 points (5-10 FG), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the losing effort. The Warriors shot 53.6% (45-84) from the field and 51.4% (18-35) from behind the arc as a team as they improve to 45-20 and extend their lead over the Nuggets for the 1-seed in the Western Conference to 2.0 games. With the loss, the Nuggets fall to 43-22 on the season.

Think they're simply bored throughout the mid season with the main goal of staying healthy and resting with 'load management'. I understand 82 games equates to more revenue and higher compensation to players, but less games ~ 60 would be fine.

Yeah when he's on he's on fire. But when he's off, he can be ice cold for multiple games in a row. It's a good thing he's a great defender, that way he can help the team even when his shot isn't falling

He's playing with one of the greatest point guards of all time in curry, in one of the greatest players of all-time in Durant. And last but not least.... as great of a shooter as he is, there are times when he is so cold he can't hit the broadside of a barn. Obviously there are times when he can't miss but there are times when he can't buy a bucket as well.

I don't know if they "needed" it. It's obvious to everyone, they are pretty bored now. They know their going to the playoffs, they're confident they are taking the championship. They are just waiting for the regular season to end. But when they feel they need to show up, they will. (Like when playing the number 2 team. And keep them from the number 1 spot. Plus it just seems they were proving a point. The point being that they don't suck, like so many have been saying after losing 2 in a row. (Which really wasn't a big deal, since they were still in first anyways) I hope to see them sweep the playoffs, then sweep the finals. I kind of want to see the excuses people come up with.

deancj1 You can’t justify a strong league based off improving team records from past seasons because like I said, the league is getting weaker. Of course some teams are having better seasons, every season is different, and the players on the worst teams are mostly weaker and younger. Lebron and KD are labeled the best payers in the league but both of them, in my opinion, are cry baby punks. They were Children who came into the league then grew up, so therefore their minds were much more immature than a 22 or 23 yr old college superstar who played 3 or 4 years and competed for a college championship. Instead they are starting their career with a half way educated mind and no grown man confidence. Now a days They don’t enter the league knowing they “got it” instead, players base their NBA career off of proving if they do “have it”......They hurry up and run to the fame and money! That’s why eventually sports will become boring to Americans, it’s no longer genuine athletics, just all about the pockets and politics
