This song feels like standing at the edge of the water at a gorgeous beach. The soft golden sand wiggling between your toes, the water reflecting a beautiful orange and purple sunset as calm waves slump along the shore. Remembering all the amazing, fun, hilarious, and beautiful moments you experienced that day at the beach. No matter how big or small, how significant the memory was, you look back on it all and come to terms that you'll never get to experience those moments again. Every experience, even the little ones, are once in a lifetime. So next time, buy that silly little trinket you didn't know you'd do with. Say hi to them even if you might not speak their language. Keep that photo, even if it's a little blurry. You might not know which little memory you'll want to look back on next.
I heard this song years ago and this morning had a sudden urge to listen to it. Couldn't remember the name of the song, only that it was by our angel Nujabes. Took me ages to find it but now I can finally relax. RIP Nujabes. Your soul will live on through your beautiful music.
I always consider the works of Nujabes to be the Art Nouveau of today's music. Like Art Nouveau, Nujabes' works seeks to find balance between the spiritual and the physical, between the natural traditional world and the modern day mechanical world. A reconciliation for people in the concrete jungle to still find nature and the trancendant within their environment.
This video be a real long playing, but it'll get me concetrating on my graphic novels when I working on my first chapter, studying the graphic novel intro, that is.
