Csgo movement still better but cs2 movement is getting better. Like the strafe in cs2 is still not as wide as csgo. If strafing a semicircle in csgo produces a capital C then cs2 gives a small c.

I am ex semi-professional Turkish CS player who had been playing since beta 3.0 back in late 1999. I do not know how many people would like to read but I just want to speak the contents of my heart. Counter-Strike has always been the peak example of "Easy to learn, hard to master" type of game. A game that has always been that casual and fun but can also be competitive and filled with adrenaline. Just like football which; you can play it on the street with your friends but there is also a professional level where we watch giant million dollar teams all over the world etc. Unfortunately, there is a scheme in the background which has been run by computer hardware companies which are forcing the game designers because of money. They are like "Hey, i will sponsor your game and fund you with hell of a money but in return, please make your game hardware dependent as much as you can, so that people have to buy my products. It is a win-win deal for both of us. Right?". The answer from their perspective is "yes". From us, the gamers, no. When the game was having its peak era back in 1.5 - 1.6, they forced us to play the shit named "CS:Source". A game that was not ready at all, hitboxes were random, something that had been completely alienated compared to how CS originally was. At first, some people were excited for a new change but when we realized how incomplete, lacking and garbage of a game it is; many teams went back to 1.6 again. CS:Source could be a good game if only it was not rushed and released properly. But guess what happened? These big hardware companies stopped sponsoring organizations (WCG, ESWC, KODE5, ESL, CPL(actually they were already dead by that time) etc.) so that pro CS scene almost died. Because of their greed and shit, the game was about to disappear from the scene. Thanks God, some people noticed this mistake and worked on CS:GO to bring back the good old fame and joy to game. CS:Source was something that had been played by French and American teams. Back in the day, we had teams from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Austria, Latvia, Hungary other than the usual countries (like Sweden, France, Germany, Russia etc.). They all disappeared forever unfortunately. For CS 2.0, i do not have high expectations. All I want from developers that they keep the same good old recipe that they have been doing for more than two decades with some new and little tweaks. I want to see my all unnamed brothers and sisters who play this game keep having fun with their current configurations; as much as they can. Thanks for your time.
