IRMA’s students staged a street play 'Anti-Social' during the institute’s flag hoisting ceremony on August 15, 2016. The main message of the event was discouraging the overuse of social networking platforms.
The play commenced with an austere comment on being judged on the basis of Facebook profiles and Whatsapp statuses. It went on to show the all-embracing influence of social networking platforms to the extent of making non users feel ex-communicated. The play also touched upon the ‘Selfie’ frenzy of the present generation.
This street play was written by a PRM 37 participant, Animesh Sharma and was directed by him and another PRM participant Vaibhav Kahate of IRMA’s ‘Nukkad Natak Mandali’.
