Hooking the DJ2GO2 Touch up to an iPhone or iPad is possible but a little bit tricky. You will need a USB Lightning Camera Adapter plus a strong power source (I’m using one with 2.1 A).
As always, it depends. I found out that my iPad Air with USB-C already provides enough power. But yeah, agreed, would have been nice if it would be like that for all iPhones/iPads.
hey i have a ipad gen 8 i just bought the dj2go touch a usb to lighting port for it and the numark headphones can i still use my bluetooth speaker with it having all that
I‘m not sure it would work but I am sure I would not recommend Bluetooth because it creates latency. If your Bluetooth speaker has an AUX/line in, you could use that!
My new iPad is also USB-C. For mine, a regular USB-C to Micro-USB cable works, no separate power needed. I got one from Ugreen and it’s great! There might be a difference between iPads in how much power they output, though.
The DJ2GO2 Touch does work with Serato, albeit not on an iPhone/iPad because Serato has not released standalone a standalone iOS version of their software.
The app is free to download and great to start with. A few of the features require a subscription but the free version should be more than enough for the beginning 😊
How do you get into the DJAY app settings to configure it for DJ2GO2 ? I dont see an option in free version, and my controller does nothing.. Newer Ipad pro.
