When my son was little, I bought him a toy Henry. He has just bought me a real Henry xtra this week! Although he wanted to buy me a Dyson, 💷💷💷 I said no, I want a Henry. I prefer a bagged vacuum. This is a great demo. New sub
I just bought a Henry today and am very happy with it on a first go. I really like your scientific and unbiased demo here, it's refreshing to see such a good demo - thanks.
Depends what floor head your machine came with. There are at least three I have ,rang factory in Somerset and they have had several complaints of difficulty using a certain head on thick carpets so they sent me an aero head free of charge
Thank you for another great video demonstration, Roger. I don't understand why Numatic could not figure out a way to store all three small tools on the canister. Surely they could easily add another clip and a little slot for the crevice tool. Or perhaps two ringed holes at the base near the back wheels.
Brian Torobin Numatic are primarily a commercial cleaning company and from the machines I've seen in a commercial setting, the small tools are rarely used, so on board storage is probably a low priority. The Henry is Amazon's best selling cylinder vacuum, so a lot of people buy them for domestic use, but they are not the most convenient to use. They have a lot of plus points, but for me they are a bit heavy and bulky for domestic use.
I think the latest Henry’s are definitely much better than the 1200w regular Henry’s because the new 620w motor has made a huge improvement including Hetty like I have. The floor head also the huge improvement too than the old floor head. Much better with the new floor head and pick up better
That tapered hose WILL increase the suction. I have personal experience. My old Volta U258 (basically same as your Electrolux 2020 Super Boost) had one. It spinned the turbo brush very fast. Actually almost the same speed as my Electrolux UtraPerformer with 330 airwats of suction. When I replaced the worn hose with the normal hose, suction decreased and turbo brush didn't spin anymore fast as it used to spin.
I love Numatic Vacuums and Miele vacuums i have one Numatic vacuum cleaner like George also meant for hardfloor/carpet cleaning. But it has numatic written on it. Its Numatic ct370.
How about The new style head and the new style tapered hose on the older type 1200 watt Numatics ( Or even a George multi purpose)? I bet they would work well.
Most of Hotel in New Zealand use henry --- made housekeeper job extremely harder... I don't know why managers keep buying Henry for heavy commercial cleaning.. that machine maybe good for house..
Henry and similar cleaners are popular in a commercial enviroment because they are cheap to buy and maintain. They are not necessarily the best performing or most convenient to use in practice though.
I've worked over ten years in Hospital cleaning here in the Uk , they use only Henry. I found them very sturdy and reliable, with plenty of spare parts around . The only downside i would say is it's weight .
I am pleased with my Henry HVR 200-12 and I like the new floor head but it doesn't like sticking to the carpet sometimes but I rarely use it on carpets and I tend to use the airobrush on carpets. To be honest I don't think it does the best job ion hard floors. I use it for my hard floors and it does about 90% of the job. Have you found your Dyson DC40 doing a better job on floors? My Dyson DC55 does a really good job on hard floors and it has a longer cord than Henry. It has an 11m power cord. I mainly use the Dyson for stairs and carpets. Henry is the main machine I use for floors. Also have you noticed the curved tube slips out of the straight tubes? Mine seems to do that.
Hi roger, it was a fantastic video nice henry vacuum, just wondering would be very interesting to see a comparison of the old floorhead and the new one. Regards, delegend81
Iv just threw 1 in the skip out of pure anger...the heads fall off regularly and the rough edge of the stainless pipe has taken several chips out of my beautiful floor! If they could fix this simple prob i cudnt say anything really bad!
I have question for everyone I use a Henry hoover at work. I vacuum backwards my boss said you can't Clean the carpet that way. But I have been told you can what do you all think
ibaisaic if you are going to get a kirby can you conceder a tradition. i ask this as my gran has one and im considering asking her for it as he has not used it since the 80s as it got to heavy for her.
This vacuum cleaner looks rubbish! - I don't want to have to cover the same ground loads of times. I need a vacuum cleaner which picks up everything first time every time! Any recommendations?
You can’t go wrong with a Henry.... it does what it says....... however has reliable has they are, I find them poor on pet fur...... however you can buy an additional turbo brush
I've watched and enjoyed quite a few of your videos. However, you never seemed to have tested a Bosch. Is there any reason for this and will you test one in future? My Bosch cylinder GS40 is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever used. It's kept continuous suction in two years. My Vax Air upright lost suction power after only a few months! The build quality of the Bosch is also excellent
+Samuel Brooks I unboxed a 90s Bosch on my channel but haven't reviewed it yet. I had a new Pet model Bosch a few years ago but I didn't like it as the hose was very short. I haven't been that impressed with the Bosch machines you can get now, especially as their made in China. I may look at getting another Bosch in the future though.
+cars and vacuum cleaners I went into Curry's to test the Athlet. I wasn't blown away by the performance on hard floors. It was better on carpet. Definitely try before you buy.
+Samuel Brooks right thankyou I may decide to get a miele instead as I can rely on them for a good vacuum cleaner but if there no sale then I'll wait or get the henry but then consider the athlete off I have no luck
Well, I think Henry is adorable so that speaks volumes. There aren't too many vacuums I want to buy just because of the face. Although you aren't as red and you don't have a tube for a nose. I suppose you beat Henry (just don't tell him I said that)!
I hate the new heads on Henry I kept my old one for this reason also have the airobrush wich is just a beast I'm lucky I have to The 1200 watt motor poxy eu 🖕🏼
@@ianjones9322 It's nothing to do with Brexit, Numatic are the only vacuum cleaner based and manufacturing in the UK with UK parts. The price rise is more likely due the the chaos of covid and the consequent inflation.
The cheapest Henry would cost approximately 12513 Japanese Yen, 146 Australian Dollars, 105 Euros, 14252 Albanian Lek, 7278 Indian Rupees or 0.1078 Bitcoins.
Wattage doesn't always equal quality. I have a Russell Hobbs Power 1800 Watt and it's so pathetic I don't know whether to cry or laugh. At 16.05 you need to mop that carpet after vacuuming it.
The face can be removed from current models, but then how would the poor vacuum see or speak. Numatic also make commercial cleaners that don't have a face.
The purdy channel we can trade with anyone we want, but what people are missing is, will they want to trade with us? The Eu is our biggest trade partner, and are right on our doorstep, and we’ve just pushed them away. We didn’t have to agree to anything set by the Eu, or any agreements to pay in, but our government are push overs and thought if we say no, we’ll be black mailed anyway, but what they failed to realise is we pay the 2nd largest sum of money in and we get the least back.
The purdy channel there is 2 problems: We would have to pay a huge amount of money for shipping. The thick bitch that was Margaret Thatcher sold off all our workspaces and companies, factories etc... to the Asians and now we own barely anything in our own country.
