Numatic cleaners are just all around quality machines. If I didn’t like so many different vacuum cleaners and had to pick one, I would have no problem using Henry or one of his buddies as my only machine. Great video as always!

Those are cute little machines. If I were still a kid, that one would be on my Christmas list. I had a bunch of real and toy vacuum cleaners when I was growing up.

This is my next commercial work vacuum after my ProTeam QuietPro backpack dies. The only thing is I don’t think it will. My daily work vac for just over 14 years(still original motor). Goes to show that a quality, maintained vacuum will last a long, long time. Love your channel.👍

I have a Henry allergy at the moment, but at work I used a James and he get an absolute thrashing and no problems at all. Vacuuming 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for almost 2 years. I sold him later to a shop keeper and cleaned up the scuff marks using a magic eraser. Looked new again

Great video, I decided to get a James for my small apartment. I have a PU cast floor and don't need any performance for carpets. Cord winders usually wind me up, cables twist and the winders get stuck, etc. etc. I'm perfectly happy with manual cord winding. This sounds like the perfect vac for me :) Thanks for keeping it real!

What you can also do with the extension tubes is when the hose/tubes are fully extended the tube sits in the handle so that you can hold the cleaner with the wand in the handle (the original james/numatic had no tool storage so that was the way to carry the cleaner and the hose/wand in one hand).

He’s definitely a tough little begger 🤣. Storing all the tools and tubes on him does reduce his height footprint to store him in a cupboard. For professional cleaners he’s a definite handy thing. Just a shame they don’t fit on standard stairs. He’s perfect for a garage. Nice video my friend.

Every home should have a Henry hoover. I use mine as a shop vac. Copes with car cleaning house renovations anything you throw at him.

The James is the new Numatic machine I now have.Agree-super value.The vac dealer here ordered one for just that-a cleaning service.The dealer received two James-one was sold to me.Love him-super addition to my collection.His maiden test was to pick up metal and wood sawdust from my ne Evolution metal/wood miter saw.I am not sure believe the motor is 600-700W very powerful for what it is-and like the HUGE bags!

Those black clips used to get one on old models before the drum slots, we don’t get those on the UK model, assume there’s some regulation in Canada for a thick yellow cable?

Them clips used to come with the older machines to put the tools on. I don't know why the James has it as it has the newer styled bucket to put the tools on

Sold! Was looking for an inexpensive canister with great suction and a large bag (so I don't have to constantly check it) for my guest house since my guests destroy my other vacuum cleaners yearly. Have a lot of hardwood floors and this is perfect for that. My only concern is that it looks like a shop vac and I'm afraid they're dumb enough to use this to clean out ashes in the fireplace or outdoor porch pollen in the Spring. Thoughts?

There's enough room on it that you could write 1/2 page paragraph on the top of it. Maybe that will help them from destroying it. I take it out of a security deposit personally.

@@PerformanceReviews - wish I could, but only family travels up there to that house. I still don't understand what the heck goes on up there. How they manage to overflow a bag to the point that it's clogged all the way down the pipe to the brushroller. I can't even fill a bag up there in a year doing a detail clean of the entire house. It's like they are vacuuming up the entire forest.

I visited the UK three times and picked up their dyson ball animal 2, 2 Henry extras, 1 Hetty, and 1 Henry allergy, but am going to get this James from here in the US and I seen him on Amazon for $279.00, should I get him from Amazon or some other seller?

On every numatic cleaner the little tools go where you put the wonds the wands are not meant to be stored on the machine.

That is because most do not have the attachment clips for the accessories. In the case of these machines, there are 5 places to store things, actually 6 if you include the slot where the floor nozzle gets attached, there are 2 tubes and 3 accessories so you do the math, the tubes can be stored where you think the accessories get stored and the accessories are stored on the clips, that being said, I keep my tubes and floor nozzle attached to the hose and use the floor nozzle slot to hold them, I can then put the accessories where he put the tubes.

Huh, James in the UK is known to be in a yellow color not blue. But, don’t know why all the Henry family of vacuums kept their color on the US market.

I don’t know how numatic ‘class’ their vacuum cleaners in the USA but over in the uk at least numatic call their domestic vacuums names like the one you have but they just call their professional/commercial vacuums numatic so I personally wouldn’t call it a commercial vacuum because as far as I’m aware James is just a domestic wet/dry vacuum

You do also realise theres next to no diference between the homecare numatics and the commercial ones? Numatic were originally a commercial only brand till the late 80s where they branched into homecare stuff and even then,it wasnt till the late 90s when stockists like Argos got numatics in. The James is the same as the PSP180,The Charles is the same as the WV370,The George is the same as the CT370
