Valk nerfs coming tomorrow and they're appropriate. Slowing down the zone, decreasing damage on bash, making the whiffed bashes punishable (can't chain on whiff anymore). This was a really good fight, an example of the skill level - it took 22 rounds before either player ran out of stamina a single time. Excellent stamina management and understanding of the game's mechanics (an example of unlock rolling being used strategically and even being punished for its use) Piggy (Hito) played the match-up very well, and represented Playstation again in an excellent manner, didn't expect this result. GGs!

@@chrisj6080 you will have an easier time on PC but some characters don't work because of the higher FPS and lower input delay. More than half the cast is too easy to deal with in that scenario. But on console, old gen when i said this, the max FPS was 30 and It have tons of input delay so you could play the most shit character in the game and still do well. For Honor is a 2017 game, it's not supposed to be played for master blaster PCs from 2024, the game becomes 90% reactable.

@@swampgator101 you mean the heavy that is only guaranteed out of stam and can get option selected by both rolling and delayed dodge attacks and can be out traded by early dodge attacks on multiple hyperarmoer characters. Kenseis 34 dmg heavy is waaay better and he's not a good 1v1 character either. What about the kick that doesn't even flicker orange when fiented(oof). Or what about the delayed heavys which can just be blocked

Its unreactable because it isnt feintable. Besides, you can throw an early guardbreak that is guaranteed to land because Valkyrie has to enter fullblock before the bash. Any Valk player spamming this fullblock bash can be guardbroken with a preemptive gb before the bash activates. I don't recommend guardbreaking every time for obvious reasons

@@Kiazuko then can you not see how a reactable and unfeintable bash would be utterly useless? Unreactable bashes are meant to be unfeintable and reactable bashes are obviously meant to be feintable. But to be honest I hate the idea of quick bashes because the animations are rushed and ugly. I much prefer the idea of reactable and feintable bashes.

Light parry on dodge I think is a good change. It makes you not just abuse it and spam dodge but really makes you time it more. More balanced.

Valk ain't broken, just her sweep is glitchy, i dodge it like every other 500ms bash but i can't dodge it except with dodgeattacks, but even when i do a dodgeattack to the left in the same timing it ALWAYS tracks me. Same with shaolins sweep, i dodge it to the left it still tracks me

Someone struggles with hito. If you took away hits armor the character wouldn't be able to do anything that's so stupid. That's how we end up with stuff like the lawbringer rework. Hito is simple but the player has to make good decisions and know how to manage Stam and cancel at the right time and make good calls. Also being able to parry consistently is crucial for the character. Valk is a much better hero piggy just plays very well.
