NUMBER FIVE | LOVELY [+S2] 

Five is such a great character. He’s harsh, arrogant, cold-blooded, and tactless, but above all, he’s overwhelmingly selfless. Throughout the show, he’s done so much to prevent the apocalypse and save his family, such as killing the board of directors and swallowing his pride by accepting the Handler’s deal, and risking the effects of paradox psychosis by approaching himself as a last resort. The minute he appeared in Dallas, he began making plans to find his family and prevent doomsday. He tried to hide his injury in Season 1 until he collapsed in Leonard’s house. Man literally doesn’t take care of himself or allow himself a moment of rest/relaxation bc he always feels the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Five: Does everything. Has nothing.

I want to give him the biggest hug. 😭💔

It hurts me to realize that Aidan is like him, incredibly talented. Smart. Brave. But sometimes he is so unhappy ... he does everything in his power, but no one says a banal "thank you" ...

the trauma five felt is so overwhelming. the amount of times he saw his family die/dead plus all the hurtful words and all the blaming is so traumatizing and sad. he is such a strong person and radiates a lot of slytherin vibes. someone please give him a hug in s3, i'm begging :(

I feel like the Hargreeves seem to forget all the trauma FIve has gone through, and though he is not perfect, he always tries to the best of his ability for this family. They really take him for granted and I just wish that, one of these days, the Hargreaves will see just how much Five cares

Diego: The love of his life was assassinated. Allison: Can’t see the person who she loves the most. Luther: *DAD SENT ME TO THE MOON.*

For the record, Five is a well written character. His aura, attitude and principles are compelling. We need more of actors who can make us feel that fictional characters really do exist! And Aidan Gallagher is a fantastic actor who literally wants me to spend a billion just for Five to fucking exists.

Poor Five, seriously he was trying to save his family, I really felt sorry for him in S2 because he again sacrificied his humanity for them not only that but also his pride when he was forced to accept the Handler's deal and he risked being killed by his other self and suffering the paradox psychoses. And on top of that every sibling blamed him that they were in the 60s meanwhile they were having fun screwing around. I kinda hate them in S2 and lucky for them Five really loves them but great video, you captured very good the emotions and the loneliness of Five

We all saying five this and five that but can we appreciate aidan for acting so good? Like I mean really good. He showed so many emotions from murder lust to depression and I think this is so amazing for a 16 year old? Like he played a 58 year old and I never once forgot that he is a 58 year stuck in a 16 year old body because he did it so well. I actually hope that he'll take some bigger roles and we'll see him on the big screen :)

Oh my god, the _feels._ The whole section from 1:50 - 2:25 where his siblings blamed him for their situation was _heartbreaking._ 💔 And how you had the beginning of the vid show his childhood, then the apocalypse.. it just makes their misdirected spite so much more painful, when Five cares so much for his family. Superb editing!! I loved the quick flashes at around 1:05 and before it a little too. And your coloring is also so, so pretty! ✨ Beautiful work!!

Heart broken so many times. My poor old man. I believe that his siblings truly care about him, as it is showed in the beginning of the video, but then the contrast to how they ignored or blamed him was heartbreaking (in a good sense bc it means you did a splendid job with the editing). Putting all those scenes together...man the first time around i didn't fully realize how much they were blaming him for SAVING THEIR LIVES. The second time i watched with my mom and she was like "they are blaming him AGAIN???" and same lol. In season2 he actually chose to go gather his family and ask directly for their help, apologizing 1939495 times and showing a more vulnerable part of himself (does that mean nothing to them? Cmon) and they were so unnecessarily disrespectful to him so many times. Like he is trying his best and you could even feel the strain and waver in his voice when talking about his family dying, the apocalypse or to save them (when asking "what about my family?" to Hazel, or the "i know what it's like to be stuck in time"). The "i want to forget it but I can't" shows very well how deeply he cares and how much it has affected him and yes i know everyone got their own issues but omg please just look at him he may be mean with words and straightforward but man is also stressed af and more than ever after +40 years alone he doesn't truly have social skills. Anyways thank you so much for the vids. I loved your Five edits and hope to see more bc whew they're so well done and this one hit right in the feels so good job! 💜 PS. poor baby boy. he tried every freaking thing just to stop the apocalypse and save his siblings. he got stuck in the future for 45 years, got shot by the handler, always is the one that gets the blame, the one who tries to make sure his family is on track. he tried everything... poor boy needs a hug!! 💔 and someone he can trust...they all think they are all better than him when everything he does is for them. I feel sorry for him

After seeing how much Five fights so hard for his family, I would honestly want him as a brother like it seriously surprises me with how much his family doesn't see how much he cares about them. Excellent editing and the song choice really got me in my feelings man lol

Absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. Fives desperation in places is so tangible that it just brings you to your knees thinking about what you would do if you were in his shoes, trying to find and save those you love.

Five sacrifices his life and tries everything in his power to help his family and he gets picked on by them. They all hate him and blame him for everything. But he takes the heat and still tries everything to save them. They are ungrateful assholes who don’t deserve him. I just want to hug him and tell him “thank you”😭🥺

im so broken now :(( now i can see, his life sucks! he was stuck for 40 years in the apocalypse without anyone. there, dolores was the only "person" that he lived with all his life. then the handler appears and makes him a murderer. as if that were not enough, he goes back in time with the hope that he can avoid the apocalypse and constantly fails. and lastly, even so, whenever he has the opportunity, the siblings offend him in every way. I almost cried with it all together. btw, the edit is PERFECT.

Man, i cried it's sad how the siblings blammed him for everthing even though he wants is to end up good not how is eventually ended up. I cried when he saw the apocalypse and saw all of his famliy members died. Five may look tough in all but has a soft side. He just wants to live a good life like everyone else. He deserves way much than he already has. Same with Aidan Gallenger the actor, he is currently being bullied and hurt by some very mean and rude people. He just wants to sing and have fun, not being bullied and hurt. The people of this world need to understand people have feelings and with someone hurting your feelings you would not feel good, would you? I think a lot of people can do some bad things to some people who has not done anything wrong. Just because Aidan is socially akward and can be shy, does not make him creepy by any means. If you think im wrong, that is fine thats your opion but keep that to yourself. Aidan has done nothing to anyone. It is messed up people bully a 17 yr old just to get some "good laughs" he said he if the hate and rude comments keep popping up he might as well blow away and never return. So if you catch somone doing that to anyone, stick up for yourself and the person being hurt. Your pal, Madison💝

The scene when he faints literally kills me- because he never told anyone he got hit because he wanted them to keep going, he didn’t wanna slow them down.. his goal is just for his family to be safe- and if he has to die in order for that to be true I 100% think he would- Five is my favorite character, because I feel he’s hurt but is hiding behind his “asshole” personality- he says he knows he’s better then them, but he really is. He was alone for a long long time and still fought to get back to his family and help them. He saw his sibling dead, And he started talking to a mannequin.. and people think it’s weird but he was alone for so long he needed someone / something to talk to, I think when Luther threatens to throw Deloris out the window was messed up- yes it’s just a Mannequin but no matter how much the object is worth- it could be worth a lot more to others.

My god, my heart breaks for Five.

The only one that cares about stopping the apocalypse because he doesn't want what happened to happen again Six (Ben): Died so young. Klaus's shadow for his whole after life Seven (Vanya): Lied to her whole life. Secluded for not being special when she actually was. Her lover turned out to be a psychopath

He never got a hug and he was the one that needed it the most...

Fives experience was the worst, he was on living in a apocalypse on his own for 40 years only surviving on cockroaches and caned foods, and the rest of the world around him is destroyed with everyone dead. And Luther starts crying about how he was on the moon for 4 years, his dad not reading his letters and eating.. I don’t know I forgot but I do know it’s better than number fives food, plus number five was on his own 10X longer! Five was so lonely that he started talking to a mannequin! Then when he got back to his family everyone starts acting horrible to him and thinking he is mean. Five is risking his life to save his family, I feel sorry for five.

Hey! I've watched this like a... don't even know how many times, but I just LOVE this video so much! Probably my fave video of Five, who is easily my fave character on the show and I love how emotional this edit is. I can't even tell you, how I feel every single time, I watch this video. I just love Five so much and I wish there were more edits that highlight that side of him, instead all of the badass edits, not like I don't like his badass side and badass edits about him, I really do, but I still wish there were more from this kinda edits, too. So far, I've found 3 and I love all 3 so much, but I guess, this is my fave. Most people would may think it's wrong, but I definitely have a HUGE crush on Five, even being a LOT older than the actor, but I don't care, what people say, I know, there is nothing wrong with it, like I mean, it's not like I decide, who I have a crush on, anyway. Anyway, what I meant to say, too, that I'm super glad that your edit exists, because that made me love him even more and every time I watch it, I feel overwhelmed by my feelings for him (and yep, I know, kinda sad, that I can be literally in love with a fictional character, despite being an adult, but I literally don't have a life, so...) and what I also wanted to say, I agree with your db and with some comments. Five did so much for his family, and also the world, he was the one, who wanted to save the world the most out of all the siblings, so I really don't think he's a bad person, even with all the killings and his past as an assassin, he did everything to save his family and the world. He, himself told, that those people would die anyway, if the apocalypse comes, but with him doing all that, he got a chance to save billions of lives. I really think, even if he's mean, and has an attitude (which just makes me love him even more, cause he's so funny and sassy and I love sassy characters) he is a really good person inside of all that. Like the Handler said, which line you also included, that "Spare me from the little assassin with a heart of gold routine, will you?", I actually think, he has a heart of gold. He's probably my most fave character, ever, because he is bad and good at the same time, he is badass, but everything he does and is bad, is happening for good reasons. And he is so forgiving with his family, cause no matter, what he did for them and they still blamed him, he still never gave up on them and forgave them everything and still saved them, and I am pretty sure, he would sacrifice himself for any of them, anytime. Heck, he even risked being erased from existence for them. Not just die for them, but being erased. And Luther wanted to go along with old Five's plan to erase him, and he still saved him from the wall falling on him, even after what he wanted to do to him. (I mean, I get why Luther would want to do this, but it's amazing, that he was able to understand it, as well and sill loving and forgiving him). In the first season in the scene, you included, when he was injured, he didn't even tell that to his siblings, they only got to know, when he collapsed, cause he wanted them to go on to save the world and themselves. He would literally give up everything for his family. His life, his existence, his happiness (as with the line proving, which you also used "I'm not looking for happy"), so it is just mind-blowing. And you remind me every time with this edit how awesome he is and how much I love him. So thank you so much for this video!!! I hope you're gonna make more with him. (I also saw your other Five edit, and I loved it, too, but this is still my fave, but that's awesome, too). And I subbed. I really wish to see more edits, like this from you, you are really talented and you showed everything so well, so perfectly.

here's my take on this five left and got stuck at such a young age in the apocalypse, where he saw the ppl he loved most dead. he comes back to the world ending he does everything he can to stop it, with being in a 13 year old body, he needs help. season 2 vanya was the bomb five isn't perfect at his power but he's the best option to save his family. yes there stuck in 1960 but r they dead? no but they still put all this hate on five when he loves them so much and all he's trying to do is save them. sorry if it doesn't make sense

Five had gone through so much in both seasons. He lost his sanity, had two people chasing after him, has had more wounds physically and mentally. He saved his siblings twice. And the way he gets rewarded was making deals that could have risked his life and getting blamed for everything that had happened. If it wasn’t for him they would have ended up dead all over again. He lost his childhood trying to get back to his family he went through so much trauma for a 58 year old man in a thirteen year olds body. I’m just hoping that they don’t blame him all over again in season 3. Five needs the most love and support in the entire show.
