I also reacted to Number_i's "Blow Your Cover" MV & Performance video, if you're interested :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0EpGQJstJsM.html
Thank you very much. The explanation was easy to understand and I felt that the goodness of Japan is at peace again. I subscribed to the channel. I'm looking forward to the explanation of Number_i from now on.
Thanks for reacting so quickly. Very enjoyable video and great music, I never get tired of watching it over and over again. I hope many people will get to know Number_i's "BON". Thanks for the explanation.
Thank you for commenting and analyzing the music video so deeply. I have not watched reaction comments like yours; you understand their sense of humor and appreciated the concept so much! thank you! I was relieved that nonJapanese can understand the sense of humor at the last part of the music video when big steel bowls fell on their heads, which is a very famous play of a very famous comedian groups in.Japan the Drifters.
Thanks for your in depth impressions and reaction to BON😊. I was amazed with their burst of creativity from its concept, lyrics, beat, vocals, dance, traditional Japanese musical elements, Japanese pop cultural references, to name some! I will be repeating this over and over. Plz also listen to their other songs on the album like OK Complex and Square One when you get a chance!
So impressed by your reaction as researching Number_i and their history as well as meaning BONSAI in depth. Unique, crazy and respect to Japanese culture got together mixed well by Number_i and their team, BON was born and I am so happy to know your reaction. Hope you keep following them. I am sure there are more and more to come! Thank you!
Thank you for your thorough research and explanations about Japanese culture and bonsai! Many instruments are used in Japan's old traditional performing arts (Noh) and Gagaku. The picture in the frame shown by the three old men who appear at the end of the story to the children is called ``Kamishibai,'' and was used to show various stories in pictures at a time when television and games were not popular. It was one of the fun performances of the children as they talked to each other. It's a worldview that gives you a sense of a peaceful future and dreams.
Did you notice, when the elevator reaches to the 1000 something floor, it goes back to 0. That is the Japanese philosophy. We always starts from 0, wherever we are. The pronunciation of “Bonsai” is “sai” in Japones, not “zai”, by the way.
Thank you for watching. The part where the tub falls is an imitation of a traditional Japanese skit. The blond guy who sings in a low voice at the beginning is Sho Hirano, and the tall guy is Yuuta Jinguji. The funny rapping guy is Yuuta Kishi. I'm glad you liked it❤️
Really appreciate your selection of words, matches my impressions. BTW, as you heard in the song, it is pronounced Bonsai, NOT Bonzai. I don’t know how the pronunciation was misinformed in English.
I'm so glad to see you getting into the rhythm. BON is a song with Japan in mind. Please also watch the Dance Practice Video! June 7, 9:00 p.m. (Japan time) Thank you 😊🇯🇵
Thanks for watching. The music video for "BON" by Number_i of Japan is full of Japanese cultural tricks! Bonsai, Dragon Ball, Bon Dance, Tea Ceremony,, Please come and comment on our official RU-vid page.
Thank you for your BON reaction, Number_i. Your reaction is amazing, as you can express deep feelings in words. I feel the message they want to convey between nostalgic Japan and the modern world, between the real and the unreal world. It's difficult for me to understand, so I've been watching it over and over again.
Thank you for the reaction video, and thank you for sharing the representation of Bonsai which I (as a Japanese) didn’t even know the half of it. That actually helped me to get deeper understanding of this song. I love how you pay attention to all the details of the lyrics instead of just reacting what you see or hear. Also I love your expression, how you choose the words. Moreover, it’s nice to see that the message they put in this piece has been delivered precisely to someone who has different cultural background. I think Number_i would be so happy to see your video. Thank you again.
I love your reaction videos. I am so glad you featured #Number_i again. I think they are geniuses. The reason is that it is such a complex and profound concept that has been made into a wonderfully enjoyable and entertaining music video. In the final scene, when the three ride on their bicycles, the announcement goes as follows. Today, the storyboard artists are going out to the towns where everyone is waiting for them. They pedal their bicycles nimbly, even though there are thundering dark clouds ahead of them.
Thanks for the reaction. I'm just hoping that you can listen to number_i b-sides. They have quite a number of other genres that were produced by each member. It really shows their versatility. ❤️💜💙
thank you. I was impressed by your wonderful interpretation. Not only are their performances amazing, but they alway thinks about his fans, and this time he compared the fans to the wire that shapes a bonsai. Together with their fans, they are aiming high to make their dreams come true.
Thank you for your reaction. BON, so much coolness in another dimension! BON was produced by Sho Hirano of Number_i. Sho has also participated the arrangement and choreography. This song was created with Japan strongly in mind. This song has many modulations and incorporates traditional Japanese music. The lyrics are also excellent, meaningful, and piercing. There are many metaphors for BON. I hope you will keep an eye on Number_i!
Thanks for your reaction to Number_i's "BON" music video. There are some "unique to Japan" scattered here and there. I hope this music video will make more people interested in Japan and Number_i. From Number_i's Japanese fans.
Thanks for the reaction video Number_i!! This song was produced by member Sho Hirano(blond hair). It was also his idea to use bonsai as the theme. His talent is immeasurable!
I'm so impressed by your insightful view on the song BON. You gave me some new perspectives. Thank you! I would like to tell you a tiny thing about pronunciation of "bonsai" (盆栽). It can sound a little bit lighter and smoother than you might imagined. You can say it not like "bon-zai" but like "bon-sigh" which sounds more naturally in Japanese🌳
As always, your thoughts on Number_i's music videos are so deep and bring new understanding to me. Hope that their music will spread all over the world! Thanks a lot :)
