20:17 "Best season finale ive seen this whole SEASON!" -Kimchi 2020 On a serious note there's many symbolism in this episode i actually teared up. 1. Endeavor's overheat, is basically his limitation. He wanted his family to have something that's not gonna hold them back, that's basically why he married his wife so his children wouldn't have to carry his burden. 2. Hawk's resolve for helping Endeavor is because he's been watching him the longest and knows how he struggled. 3. Endeavor's speech when he's about to kill Nomu. "You are me, from the past... or perhaps another future. Burn up and be put to rest" is basically him saying goodbye to his former self. 4. The constant flaming wings because of Hawks helping Endeavor. The symbolism is the Phoenix, a legendary creature which is LITERALLY the symbolism of *Rebirth*

He didn't do it bc he cared about his children carrying some risky quirk, he did it bc he wanted to create a stronger man than All Might. His motives were messed up. That's why he kept having children after children for that sole goal and stopped once Shoto was born. It maybe sucks, but Endevour was a piece of shit as a father and as husband, he saw his wife as nothing but a perfect tool to give birth. And he realizes that, he knows he messed up and he knows there is never going to be ultimate forgiveness and still tries his best and looks back at his past, what he missed and what he did wrong. That's why he said to High end, he is basically him from the past, just obsessed with power.

When he says to the nomu, that he is just like how endeavor was in the past. hungry for power and crave for multiple quirks to be stronger and the reason & obsession with which he created Shoto with two quirks and when he says now he's gonna burn away that obsession with nomu & finally put it to rest once it for all. Really a deep moment. Also shoto's flashbacks of Endeavor saying he wants to be a better Father and husband , Hawks saying "You were the only one who was seriously trying" and Endeavor shouting plus ultra something which his arch rival All might used to say, this all led to the amazing development for endeavor and proving himself deserving of the next symbol of peace. Great episode

@@ndy9601 He was making a bridge from poor materials wood and stone trying to catch up to all might that when you think about it, how awkward could it be to use such materials. You can't even step on it. Endeavor had no way to catch up to all might yet he kept trying and he looked so ridiculous doing it but he was seriously trying even when he looked awkward. He abandoned his family. He lost the people he loved just so that he could get his goal of becoming number 1. And when he finally became number 1 bcoz allmight retired, he couldn't even prove it. He was losing. He almost breaks down thinking, "all of the things I sacrificed and still I'm not enough?". And the very small chance of winning he gave his all going beyond PLUUUS ULTRAAA PROMINENCE BUUURN!

Even now, 2 years later, I still love it. My favorite line? _"Fix your eyes growing dim on the chance at victory!"_ You just know his body, his brain even, is all breaking down, his eyesight in his only remaining eye is fading from damage from the heat, the hole in his torso is cauterized by his own fire by now, I'd imagine by the time he's in high atmosphere to put Hood to rest that he'd be legally blind, his body would be entirely numb, muscles barely moving, all of his effort is going into holding onto Hood, speaking and using Hellflame, he can't even raise his left arm after Hood pierced through it, at this point only the natural low-level regeneration even Quirkless people seem to have in MHA is keeping him alive, if barely. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he fell unconscious for a few moments slumped over on his feet with his arm raised in victory at the end, before the Dabi confrontation that happened afterwards.

this endevour redemption story is just beautiful and so perfect. In the manga the dialogue makes more emphasis on how endevour is not running away from his mistakes but he is confronting them HEAD ON. And now he had to fight what he felt was the representation of his former self, the one he doesn´t want to be anymore, and did everything in his power to burn it, destroy it head on and be at peace with it finally... But this fight is not a re-start since from this fight he got scared, with the same scar todoroki has. So now he has to live with it, permanently. So fucking perfect.

Hawks is absolutely one of THE best characters in this series. I will keep this comment strictly spoiler-free. Lionel Messi (the soccer player) is actually Horikoshi's inspiration for Hawks' character. Hawks is actually from one of Horikoshi's old series, and Hawks was originally designed with a bird head and named "Takahiro." He was not originally in My Hero, but he was added into the series when the animators working on the first My Hero movie wanted to animate Takahiro as the #3 hero. Horikoshi was so touched that they'd read his previous work that he agreed, and then began brainstorming Hawks' character, based Hawks' past off of Lionel Messi's, and a few weeks later, Hawks was born! Also, your analysis of Hawks' character is great. He starts off as an arrogant little shit and then shows his true colors when he reveals Endeavor has been his idol all this time. This will only be more important in the future. It's so touching to me because Hawks is mainly a support hero, and he got to fight alongside his biggest inspiration. The voice acting, too, really got to me. Hawks is regarded as one of the most intelligent characters in the series, as you can already see from his analysis of society's unrest and his actions to help Endeavor. Hawks also is shown to be extremely serious when he fights. This is his true personality, but he tries to throw people off guard by adopting a breezy, carefree attitude so that they never know what he's really thinking. I love you guys, thank you for an incredible analysis and for your continued love for the series. Plus ultra!

This last episode was so good. The Symbol of Peace is gone, everyone knows that no one can replace him. This society's God is dead. And who steps up to the plate to try and do his best to take his place? Just a man. A flawed man, with a flawed quirk, trying his best to measure up to the gap that All Might left behind. And BOY does he step up. And who knows, maybe he will redeem himself in the eyes of his family, in time.

Exactly, All Might was something unreachable, but somehow someone rather flawed managed to inspire people and bring hope from his victory and display of power. Endevour might not be a symbol of peace, but more a symbol that can inspire others that you don't need someone to be awed at that will fix all your problems, but instead work hard enough and never give up trying yourself. Even if it's not stated anywhere what Endevour could be a symbol of, if it were to me I think he's the perfect concept of "victory", where giving up or the concept of losing doesn't even exist and you constantly strive to always win.

There is an oneshot about him and his family. If you want this spoiler (without canon spoiler): Nana Shimura is one for all user, she is married and needs to keep distance from the family to make them safe. Her son, grows hating heroes, because of his mother that "didn't care for her own family". When he makes a family, Shimura Tenko, his son, plays hero, like any kid, just as Midoriya says in the first episode. His dad always (literally a jerk) repress the kid, just like Endeavor did. One day, Tenko is crying in the garden, and he discover his quirk: Decay. But the thing is HOW he discovered, and that would be: emotionally weak, sad, unstable and confused. He hugs his dog, and it disintegrates, his sister is going to comfort him, when she see the scene, she starts panicking, and he tries to ask her help, killing her instead. He freak out, and end up destroying the whole house and his family inside. When his father gets there, he repudiate the kid, that end up killing (this time on purpose) the old man. All For One takes this kid and his familys hands and transforms into Shigaraki Tomura (and erases his memorys, making him weaker, until he unleash his past). That is basically the oneshot, but i recommend you to read, its really good!

When Endeavor talked about overheating and he said “that’s the reason” and showed Rei (his wife) and Shoto using both quirks, I think his goal was so that Shoto can basically prevent himself from overheating by using his ice quirk so he can be able to fight at his full potential without worrying about the possibility of overheating and destroying his body.

Dinoray if you read the manga you'd know who that kid is. (SPOILER) That kid is endeavors oldest son who passed away. His oldest son was stated in the manga to have flames several times hotter than endeavors and this kids flames were that hot from when he was just a kid. The only downside was the extreme heat of his flames use to burn his own skin so endeavor considered him a failure. After shoto was born he considered shoto to be his perfect son but his oldest son still had even hotter flames than shoto so endeavor continued to train his oldest son hoping that he could find a way to make his body more capable of handling the heat of his intense flames. After sometime training him endeavor sent his oldest son to train as a hero but during training his son accidentally killed himself using his own flames. It was still teased several time in the manga that his son might be still alive.

Having read the manga I thought they were going to end this season with the Eri/school festival/Gentle Criminal arc and elude to the high end nomu then start the next season with it. I’m so happy they ended the season with this Endeavor episode. I was so hyped to see it since I read it! I understand why people thought the second half was “boring” but those that stopped watching totally missed out.

I just want to say a couple of things: 1) yes, season 4 is the best season so far, in my opinion as well. 2) Hawks' name, which i assume you got somewhere on the internet, is kind of important, considering that's being revealed in chapter 266 of the manga, something that should come out during season 6, i guess, so you managed to "spoil" this to yourself lol Btw, i love you guys, nice video! Edit to add a third point: 3) it has been said in season 3 that Shigaraki is Nana Shimura's (seventh One for All inheritor) grandson. I would totally think that All for One could do such a thing as getting his brother's son turn against his father ideals, but, just with what you know from the anime, you can already see it isn't possible. (Also, think that Izuku is from the 4th generation since quirks appeared, Shigaraki should be less than 10 years older than him, All for One is more than 100 years old, and so should be his brother, but i'm digressing lol)

Kimchi and Tofu sir and madam, the person that's is there with all for one is not shigaraki dad, he is the smallest brother of all for one to whom, all for one has passed one for all and we can say that he was the first person or the base of one for all. Shigaraki when he was small, he had killed every family members by mistake, because he has no control over his quirk. And I think, if the first predecessor is meeting Deku, that means he is transferring his own strongest personal quirk to Deku and we can say that Deku will also have multiple quirks soon just like all for one. And Remember, allmight and are the only holders of one for all who doesn't have their own quirks, so according to me, all the previous successor of one for all have started to believe on deku as they see the most pure heart of a hero in him, and I Think that they are all going to transfer their all own quirks to him 😉😉👍👍. Just wait for season 5. It's going to kill us 😁😁🤯🤯

Love your vid and I mean no disrespect but let me clarify some things for you about your theroy ill put some space between the text so beware spoilers ahead So we know in the anime that shigrakis is the grandson of nanashamora and that the man with white hair is the creator of one for all and is the brother of all for one we also know that in the manga shigarakis father who is nanashamoras son who she left for adoption is quirkless and that when shegarakis power was blocked by his mental trauma it was so strong he can destroy things that are touching what he's touching this is what he used to kill his family including his father so the creator of one for all is not shigarakis father and thanks for reading all this ik I could have made this shorter
